I really wish they re-aired this series... I remember when I was little looking through youtube videos just to watch this series... I'm willing to rewatch this show over and over again if anything because of how magical it is...

This song always sounded like a deeply rooted European song, even though it was composed by the Japanese. But I recently heard the Eurovision winner of 1965 from Luxembourg and it sounds so similar! I wouldn't be surprised if the makers of this anime got inspired by that song. It's called "Poupée de cire, poupée de son" by France Gall. Look it up!

France Gall is not from Luxembourg, but from France (I am french), she is was a very famous singer in the 60's-70's, and yes this song is very similar to "poupée de cire, poupée de son", apparently the song was very successful in Japan !

Sometimes I can't believe I still love this anime. It's a great classic.

i like to think this is sailor moon's great grandmother who was barely shy of achieving greatness like her granddaughter

This is more like Sailor Moon's younger sister since it came out after

any babies in their 20s who watched this as a kid❓😭 i’m 20 and i watch this with my older sibling when we were in elementary school… don’t remember how or what channel but it was this and cased closed detective conan or whatever it’s called!

I remember rushing home every day after school just so I could watch the Philippine Tagalog-dubbed franchise of this. And then for my Grade 6 (elementary) graduation, I picked a fabric that had pink and yellow color combo with petal embellishments, so our seamstress could turn it into my graduation dress. It was inspired by Momoko’s color scheme. Lol 💗💛🌸

Man, sometimes I forget this was a thing. I saw it on Comcast's On Demand anime section and it was kinda the only way I would see new anime for awhile. I remember seeing this and thinking "This is probably gonna be stupid" and I was pleasantly surprised. It's not a masterpiece but it's fun. It's unapologetically shoujo romance and I appreciate it.

This is like one of the few magical girl anime I remember watching that had to go through 2 transformations before getting their powers hahahaha

The only thing I find controversial about this is what exactly is the point of the wedding dresses and how come they didn't give the fighting outfits more of a wedding theme rather than looking like they were inspired by sailor moon

Damn I actually bought the whole sailor moon collection except for the dic dub I’m planning on getting it later. Wedding peach and sailor moon are the best magical girl animes :)

As someone who watched both shows, I can confirm that Wedding Peach has practically nothing in common with Sailor Moon besides what were common tropes at the time
