Thank you! This is a very nice, step by step explanation. In several places I think you mis-spoke. For example saying server when you meant client or saying server trust store when you meant root certificate. I suggest that, while you are preparing to create the video you write what you want to say. Then when you are creating the video you can just read that script. Even better you could create the video and audio separately and then combine them. I don't know how to do that but I have watched many videos there were created in that way. Anyway, thanks again. I will work through a very similar configuration soon. The difference is that my client is a managed server in another WebLogic domain.

Another thing 100bytes is it possible you do not need the step of importing/creating the catruststore.jks.I do not see this file being accessed in any other keytool command lines anywhere in either of these 2 videos?

The video is excellent, I was able to access the Weblogic Admin through SSL. However when trying to configure WLS_FORMS cluster_forms Server for SSL using the same steps in the video starting at the 7:00 min mark except the WLS_FORMS it did not work. Acting as if the SSL port is not even listening. Can you please help with forms and reports on SSL. Thank you. JamesK

Hey 100bytes! I did the same steps as you mentioned in the video. But I'm getting this error on mozilla when I'm trying to access weblogic console login page using HTTPS protocol. ERROR: "localhost:7002 uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate is unknown. The server might not be sending the appropriate intermediate certificates. An additional root certificate may need to be imported." Please see if you could help me with this!

+Md Imran Does your root certificate is self-signed and imported into browser's trusted store?

I followed the exact steps, but even after importing the certificate in the Trusted Root Certifications, Chrome is still believing that the connection is not private. "The identity of the website has not been verified". Any ideas? Thanks!

Unfortunately i have another problem if you are willing to help me. I am trying to make a paypal payment request through the paypal api, but i cannot do this, i got an exception that i think it has to do with the paypal certificate which is not recognized by my weblogic server. "Caught exception while handling error response javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: General SSLEngine problem" I tried to download the paypal certificate and then added it to the keystore (server.jks). Do you have any other suggestions? Thank you for any help you can provide.
