    Love your videos, well presented, and especially the temperature and barometric pressure. I just wish you were to report the dB report at 1-meter off-center, 1 meter forward, and the dB measuring device pointed at the muzzle (45 degrees) to the offset. For example, the CO2 molecule has an atomic weight of approximately 44 daltons or 44 grams per mole. At 74 degrees Fahrenheit, CO2 pressure is approximately 62 BAR or 899 psi, and the molecule velocity as it bounces all over the place and behind the pellet is approximately 280 m/s or 918 fps, so at 426 fps, the pellet is traveling at approximately 46% the maximum attainable velocity, if you had an infinite barrel length and infinite CO2 gas pushing the pellet; in other words, this is a very efficient CO2 gun for the money. Lastly, 12 grams CO2 / 40 shots = 0.3g CO2, or 4.63 grains of CO2, or 4/3 of a cubic centimeter of gas per shot, which means approximately 39% of the maximum kinetic energy attainable. The limiting factor is the 6.25-inch barrel and the kinetic frictional losses attained per barrel length. This is a great gun to do physics experiments thanks to your video report. Liked and subscribed.

    Are you trying to show off about your knowledge of the physics of air guns? No body cares. At least < 1/4 of 1% of air gunners could care less about these stats. Get a grip on your narcissism will ya. Most of us simple care about what AGD demonstrates: velocity, accuracy, plinking, and trigger pull, and of course, price. Get over yourself.

    Once I put a red dot on mine, it became even better. I've shot domed, flat and pointed pellets through it, it was accurate with all of them. The pointed pellets I used, I was getting pellet on pellet shots, every shot was going through the same hole. Shame though, the pellets I was shooting are no longer made. But the rws sport line are a good replacement though. But yea, it's my favorite pistol at the moment

    Hey Buddy, I have 2 of those and they are high quality. They are based out of Poland. I have a Trevox, but thank you. I totally worked the trigger on that. I actually changed the screw out and removed a spring inside the trigger mechanism. It breaks under 2 lbs now. I'll have to share the details with you.

  • @murfspop

    @murfspop

    4 жыл бұрын

    @@AirgunDetectives I put in a 10mm screw and the pull is shorrer but the same pull weight . Any longer than 10mm and it hits the safety. I'll see if I can find a parts diagram for which spring I remove. I also added a shoulder stock to the Trevox. :)

  • @AirgunDetectives

    @AirgunDetectives

    4 жыл бұрын

    @@murfspop There is a Phillips Head screw in the front portion of the trigger. I replaced it with a M5 x16mm Allen bolt. Adjust the screw inward (clockwise) to the point the safety still engages (the gun needs to be cocked for proper adjustment so always point in a safe direction and remember not to dry fire) if you turn the screw in too far the safety will not engage so simply back out the screw just enough so you can still push in the safety button. This will cut your trigger pull in 1/2 and make this a very functional trigger. Unfortunately, is does not lighten the trigger but just shortens the pull. In addition to replacing the trigger screw, Remove the stock assembly, 3 Phillips screws. Be careful with the spring-loaded pin in the bottom of the stock that's used to engage the safety, just in case it comes out. The trigger and sear are held in with pins (one each) and can be easily removed. Take a picture so you know exactly how to reassemble. Take the trigger out and remove the spring that is held in with the same pin. You are not going to re-install this spring. That alone will change your trigger to 4.75 lbs. I then removed the sear, another pin, and replaced that spring with a ballpoint-pen spring which I cut down to size. Put the smooth uncut portion in the top arm and the cut portion on the flat part of the sear. Re-install, again leaving the "trigger" spring off. You don't need a spring here. It is that simple. My trigger now breaks at 2.9 lbs. Very easy modification.

    The reason the trigger is so good is because it's bolt action, and all the trigger has to do is to move the sear, it doesn't have to cycle the action. The reason it shoots at 420fps, is because the CO2 only has to propel the pellet, not cycle the action with some of that gas. The reason it's so accurate is because there's no trigger creep while it cycles the action, nor is there a metal slide moving to chamber a round during blowback. It is, what it is for the very reason it is single shot, bolt action. There are many semi-auto pistols out there if you want one. This isn't one of them.
