I hope this helps you guys out who are wanting to convert your cvcc civic to a weber 32/36. Its a common swap as the stock cvcc carburetors are very complex and hard to rebuild/get running right. I was able to install this kit in about 25min and it was very straight forward and seemed well made. Comment if you have any questions. Hit that like and subscribe button to help out my channel. Thanks for watching!

Coming this weekend👍🏼
nice and easy.
I have a 1980 1.6 EL engine is this the k724 or K624 kit
Great video! But I did not see the first gasket that goes under the heat shield in the kit you got? Where did you get it? Also what do you do with all the other vacuum lines? Do you have a video of how it ran after?
I have a 1984 honda city 1.2 NA carb, how can i add webber to it, thanks
Hell yeah, slap that puppy in there!
I look around and find no love for the Hitach DCG-306 I saw you tearing apart in an older video. I swapped one onto my Geo metro converting it from TBI and electrical problems to carb and vacuum/centrifugal distributor.
Where's pt.2?
What advantage do you get with replacing the carburetor with a Weber?
It looks the auxiliary port covered up by the gaskets. Does that setup block off the pre-chamber intake? If it does how does it affect fuel economy

No it still feeds fuel down into the third chamber which is what’s unique about the CVCC
How did you get the bolts out? it looks easy in your video. I'm using the same pliers and I cant get it to turn at all

I used some vice grips and got them on super tight. If that doesn’t work KZread “double nut method stud remover”. And if that doesn’t work i’m pretty sure they make a stud remover tool. Best of luck👍🏼

@@Mechanic_kid unfortunately i tried your plier method first and it stripped the threads so now I can't get a nut back on to try the double nut method

@@Mechanic_kid I might just go get one of those stud removers and do that since I don’t need the bolt for the weber
We have 2 1976 c ccs do you have video for electrical wiring harness?

No. But join the First Gen Cvcc Facebook group page. Someone can help you
Hey I just got my Weber kit and I was wondering on a cvcc 77 I have 2 ports on distributor. Do I plug one? What happened to cvcc timing video?

Also did you leave all vacuum lines? Connected to the “black box”?
@Mechanic_kid

@@gonzaloverduzco8328 remove the black box! To start off just block off all the vacuum ports and you should be able to get it started. Later you could hoop up the vacuums line to the distributor for vacuum advance. But start with just getting it running.

I forgot to film a video on timing, and sold my cvcc. Im sure the timing is fine. Try to get it to start after installing the weber. If it spits and sputters and backfires but won't stay running, loosen up the distributor and rotate it a little and try again. If it has not power and running poorly, your static timing is probably off and need to re adjust your timing belt... Best of luck👍

@@Mechanic_kid thank you. I’m a small block Chevy guy. So watching your vids has helped me learn about this little future daily driver.
