Thank you for a very detailed review of an interesting webcam. AI is fascinating-in this form. My husband is a professor teaches online sitting in one position for hours (with a bad back.). As the saying goes "Price is only an issue in the absence of value". I would agree that the average casual video chatter would have a hard time justifying spending this much on a webcam but as a virtual trainer I have found this awesome piece of hardware invaluable! The low light performance and clarity is second to none. The AI tracking gives me options I didn't have before. I second everything you shared in the review.

I'm not sure I want to invest quite that much in a webcam but I'm definitely interested in this one. I'm a streamer and I use a webcam as a 2nd camera so my viewer can enjoy seeing my cat. That follow feature seems purrfect for following her around as she interferes with my gaming. ) Thanks for the review!

when it is 4k/60 fps and has a bigger sensor and still has the PTZ for 350 dollars then I will be satisfied.

Will this camera be helpful in a school setting? If I record a professor in a lecture hall will this stay focus at the large power point presentation in a college lecture hall!? Yes, this camera can definitely be helpful in a school setting! It has great focus capabilities and can record for extended periods of time. I think it would be perfect for recording lectures in a college lecture hall.

$330 for a webcam? Perhaps for KZread content creators but not for the many many millions of business users who use webcams all day every day in Zoom and TEAMS calls. The increase in resolution and functionality over a built in HD cam is nice but the bang for the buck is simply not there.
