Huge shoutout to Tech Tangents for the original video and supplying the program. I knew I needed to test this on my setup as soon as I saw it.
Things worth noting:
- Installed the program in a Windows 98 SE Virtual machine and then copied it over to my customized W10 install.
- I'm using Protoweb, which is a different project to WaybackProxy featured in Tech Tangents' video; it's similar, but it's more community driven and aimed at restoring each site faithfully.
- The program runs but has graphical errors. If you've used pre-Windows 7 before, it should be familiar to you. I'm thinking a wrapper might correct it like DGVoodoo2, not tried tbh.
