Can't help but cry. I will never stop loving Elvis, or missing him . He was such a special man who loved his fans. I think that's why Elvis is still so loved by millions of fans is because he showed his love for his fans and was so generous with anyone who had less. He bought people homes, cars, jewelry and supported over 50 charities in Memphis alone. He helped so many children who were sick and never wanted any recognition for it. You don t read much in the press about the good things he did out of love. Noone will ever top Elvis. He is the best entertainer there has ever been. R.i.p. Elvis. You will never be forgotten.

Thank you for sharing the many thoughts of a few fans during the candlelight vigil of our beloved Elvis Presley. Knowing he has been passed for as long as he was alive. That is incredible. Then when is started to read the other comments and realized their are 42 . I thought that was something, but now it will surely continue to flow with more loving thoughts for our King of Rock & Roll. I will always remember his humanity to others and the love he had for his mother. Of course, he georgious face and body. Even at his heaviest he still looked great to me. I am so amazed and greatful and we are all blessed that Elvis has been remembered and loved and honored throughout all these years after his death. I remember the first time I visited Graceland, a lady came up to me and asked me where was I from and when I said India, she seemed shocked and said you heard of Elvis in India??? She said she was his neighbour many many decades ago and would see him fooling aroundlawns but never thought he would get that famous. Ha ha Bless her heart she then ran towards her husband saying '' Larry larry...they've heard of Elvis in India!'' Ha ha. I have been fortunate to now have visited Graceland a few times and I will continue to do so...as there never was and there never will be another entertainer like Elvis...as Whitney Houston once said in an interview...when one saw Elvis, you don't say a thing....you just stare! I loved Elvis ever since I was a small girl. I saw him on Ed Sullivan and he was amazing!! I watched every movie, and listened to all his songs. I know every song he ever recorded by heart. I think he was the best looking, most talented man ever put on Earth. And I believe it was all for a special reason. Look at all the people from all over the world that still love him and miss him. We are ALL connected by this special man in LOVE for him. Elvis could have been President of the United States if he had wanted to. He could have done anything he wanted. People love him that much.

If he was sent from God ,why did he sing rock for the devil.Granted he started from a Christian walk,but he is the king of rock,not of gospel.If he would of stayed with Gospel what a blessing he could of been.He wouldn,t of been as popular with the world,but with all of God,s children he would have been,me included.I hope and pray he made heaven his home,for im not his judge.

I grew up on God family a Elvis Presley he has always been like a family member to me I first saw him in king Creole loved him ever since Elvis Presley was a natural wonderful special unique gorgeous man. Best singer ever especially Gosple songs I believe those were really the only kind of songs that moved Elvis a made him feel closer to God a his mom.
