LumiereDarling you clearly dont have the slightest clue about piercings. The only problem with this piercing is the placement, because they reject even faster on hands because the skin moves a lot.

Noelle Irina Because the stone is actually sitting in your skin. This isn’t a hole that allows a metal bar to go through or allows the other side of the piercing to be exposed. This is something embedded in the skin. Like your skin will heal around this and connect to the stone or it’ll heal around the anchor that is put in to hold the stone in place. That seems way more prone to being infected than something you can take out easily. Also, it’s closer to the bone. It isn’t just flesh you have to think about.

LumiereDarling It's not close to the bone. It's in the skin. And if the other side of the piercing were exposed, that would make it easier to get infected. Bacteria comes from the outside, not the inside. If the piercer knows what they're doing, they sterilize their tools and the jewelry in an autoclave right before piercing you, they wear gloves and a face mask and they use implant grade titanium jewelry. In the world of responsible and not amateur needle piercing, and not gun piercing, infection is actually rare.

it's called a dermal anchor..it's nothing new but any certified piercer will tell you getting it in that location is a bad idea...too much friction, likelihood of rejection, infection, etc. same for getting them on your wrist, back, hips, etc. you can get them, just be aware of the risks

Adrienne.. If you get a piercing it should be for you, not for your man. I can't help but notice that every chance you get to talk about something sexual, you take it and that's fine but think about yourself first. There's nothing wrong with anything you said, bc that's just how you feel, but I also worry a little bit about how other people that watch the show might pick up on that. Well dermals has been around for a few years now. I my self Hapen to have a few and yes if you go to a place that does care about the job they doing they will always let you know the risk depending on the place you wanted. I actually had to go get a few removed personal decision and a very small dot is where I had it. They have to know how to cut it so it doesn’t scar to badly and it depends there’s people who scar very fast.. I also still have after 7-8 years...

any of my piercings didn't leave a scar thats noticeable and they healed well. Idk about this type but as far as the ones ive gotten have been just fine. I do think if its done correctly and taken care of properly than it'll be fine

Have two in my back and they have never been infected or ripped out. Fully healed. Going 8 years strong. I'm to scared to have them removed.. so ill just leave them there. They don't bother me at all. I always forget I have them until someone points them out. Would NEVER get them on my fingers ! Just asking to get them ripped out.
