    After all that money I spent buying this type of weaving in needle, that type of bent tip needle etc and all because after using them it was oh, well, they aren't much different. All I need is a sharp needle. I was taught never to use a sharp needle because it will split and damage the thread. Mind you that was decades and decades ago. Now I will use a sharp needle.     Thank you Sue! There would be some sort of yarns that could be damaged if you went into the fibers with a needle, like some glitter yarns. But most don't.

    I am weaving in some ends right at this moment; working with worsted weight wool for the first time. I just took off my blunt tipped tapestry needle and reaching for a sharp ended one….thanks for that tip.

    I appreciate you also explaining how the different types of fibers' property, like wool ,keeps it from pulling back out. The tip about the sharp needle is very helpful too!! Never thought about that either... ❤

    Tuula, I love the way you think! So many of your tips are ideas I already use! For example, the way you make your slip knot is exactly the way I was taught. I’ve never seen another KZreadr do it like that! And I really appreciated your tips on when to keep the slip knot loose. You are an excellent teacher!

    I generally use a blunt needle, but I can see the advantage to a sharp needle...especially for DK or sport weight yarns. Your tips are always so helpful...thank you 🤗

    I enjoyed this one while weaving my own ends in (cotton dk, so a bit more slippy). I like to put the needle between the fibres of the yarn too but I tend to use a very thin tapestry needle. 🪡

    This is exactly how I darn in ends. If acrylic, go further. Another tip is to tie a slip knot in the end of the thread that you have darned in, and do a lot of cutting off at a time. The knot tells you cut. I do my ends in batches of 10 and I never find it a boring job. You tube stories keep me entertained.

(Used 4 colors that i had already &wanted to clear my box of yarn) I'll try to do that when i watch Tv like you said.     @@TuulaMaariaWhen crocheting the body as one piece, back and front. There are many ways to connect the rounds as one continues around the piece. Essentially a tube. example: sleeve to keep Tea glass warm or leg warmers without sewing a seam later. ? ? ? Thank you

    Thank you! I try to avoid as much of the Finnish winter as possible, while continuing to work normally! When I came here to Las Palmas in January, I didn't know where I would go for March, had nothing booked. Then decided to go to Ireland where I have a place to stay!

    You mentioned slippery yarn might come out. Is slippery yarn any soft yarn or made of stuff like acrylic? Thanks so much

    Artificial fibers mainly because they don't stick. Acrylic or some novelty yarns like ones with glitter or cord-type ones but also hard crochet cotton, like mercerised.

    I find double magic ring so fiddly that I never use it, doing a single one like this kzread.infolFFD133pYv8 But if I did, I'm not usre I would dare to trust that since the yarn doesn't go to the opposite direction at all inside the stitches.
