I liked the head cam. It was a lot easier to get a sense of how the detecting works. You already have so much equipment on, I don’t think anybody would notice the camera as being weird. To me it looks like a headlamp. Good job!

Thanks for the support - It did work pretty well, but I didn't have it angled quite right and I need to remember not to whip my head back and forth 🤣🤣

I love your boots. There were some really cool rocks. Forget what others think, it's cool that a woman of your grace and wisdom would get out there and "compete" with the young ones. You do it with class! By the way love the bobby pin! lol

Those two beaches are the only places I've ever found lightning stones, West Side county park and Pier Cove. Rocky Gap Trail Park is another small known gem for rocks too.

@@TravelingTreasureFinder it's a wonder you found many down there. I have heard there's a few here and there but in plenty closer to Saugatuck. Another great beach to hit is Douglas Beach Park, about 5 miles from Pier Cove. Some rocks on shore , lots of sand, but rocks a plenty in the water . Found some septarians there but mainly at Pier Cove. Rocky Gap is very scenic as well as a rockhounder's paradise. I've seen a lot of sunsets there.

Pier Cove Creek is also loaded with gold and garnets/garnet sand. Bring your gold pan!

Really, I had no idea! I have to say that I have never panned for gold or garnets. I would like to try it sometime. Is there a trick to it?

@@TravelingTreasureFinder I just watched KZread videos to learn the method and just got out and practiced. The gold is very fine so it makes it a bit more difficult.

Love your videos! They are very informative. Also love the earrings! Have you opened your Etsy store yet? If so, where can we find it? I watched a video recently where you found a lot of flat rocks of various sizes. What do you make with them? I would love to see some of your craft projects! One more question: Where did you get your scooper? It's very cool! Thank you.

Thank you so much for watching and commenting! My Etsy store has been delayed, but I am going to dig into it in 2024. Stay tuned to my you-tube channel and I will announce when it is open! I have made a few pieces (that will be in my shop) with the flat rocks. My problem with making these is that I have tremors (in my hands) and making things that require steady hands is tough. I have had to pivot a bit with my art making. My shop will have rocks and glass and shells for crafting, also some art prints and cards etc. I haven't figured out all of it yet, but it's coming😊 I also plan to do a few more art making videos for the times when I can't get to the beach. Oh my scooper! It's the best. I bought it on Captiva many years ago. As far as I know, they no longer make this one. The shop I bought it from said they got too expensive so they stopped carrying them. I have even had a couple of companies look at it because I wanted to sell them (I get so many comments and interest), but I can't get it done for a reasonable price. I haven't given up, but I might have to get them made overseas?🤷🏼‍♀️
