Funny ya'll post this video now. Been really into the Rurouni Kenshin films lately and thought it would be so cool when I do make it to Japan to wear kimono, but since I am American im hesitant about it too. Are Japanese people okay with foreigners wearing kimono? I don't want to be disrespectful on any level when I make it to Japan. The kimono are really pretty! I really like the one Meru bought!!

Today we were just talking about making such a video at some point! Since we were wearing pin mics during this video other peoples voices were not picked up 😅 however, so many people had such lovely things to say about me wearing Kimono. In my experience wearing it a few times on various trips I have only heard positive things from Japanese people as they can see you’re enjoying their culture ☺️

@@ChusonChannel 💖 That's awesome to hear! That would be the reason I want to wear one, for culture appreciation. and the experience. I absolutely love Japanese culture, love learning about it. So I wouldnt want to do anything that would be seen as, appropriation. But if they are happy for foreigners to wear Kimono I definitely want to wear one, one day! ☺

You look glorious in the kimono, Miss Mel/Meru, and Asakusa is the best place to walk with a traditional outfit. Not just its delicious food, but also a rickshaw ride sounds splendid, even I have never ridden one in Hong Kong, China nor Japan in my life.

The rickshaw driver was pulling double duty as a tour guide. And he never has to go to the gym because his job makes him jacked.

Thank you! ☺️ It costs €40~100 for rental! And for buying it can cost €1000+ for a new one! But vintage kimono can be very cheap! The one I bought in the video only cost €10 🥰

The lady at the rental shop took only 10 minutes or so for the actual dressing ☺️ I took waaay longer choosing which one I liked though 😂

Damn u guys (⌒▽⌒) u make me feel like I’m dreaming, that I went to that place of Sensoji践祚時　it’s like I am hanging out with u guys as friends do hang out all days of hours until night time, we go apart to go back our own home or sleep over with their friends house. That was awesome trip u guys, hope u’ll guys will have twins or more babies, n having a great life as a bigger family should b. （＾∇＾）hehe~
