Wear Watch Below Wrist Bone or Above Wrist Bone?

Should a watch be worn below the wrist bone or above the wrist bone? Within this video, I demonstrate why I wear my watch below the wrist bone. This video was prompted by comments on KZread because I had never even considered wearing a watch above the wrist bone until I read the comments. To me, wearing a watch above the wrist bone makes it look like the watch is being on the forearm. What are your thoughts? How do you wear your watch? #Timepiece #Watch

Looks just fine on you with it being below the wrist bone. I think your wrist bone is set back a bit higher, which is why the watch looks more oddly placed with it above your wristbone. :)

Dude you are cracking me up with this video! I have a big wrist bone but it’s not as far down up the arm as yours. But it does hurt when my watch constantly pushes on it. But I do agree, how in the world do you get it to stay put above the wrist bone? It just slides down below it when you walk around. 🤷🏼‍♂️ I also agree that it looks better below the bone.

For dudes the watch is meant to just peek out from under the shirt sleeve. Implying wearing the wrist watch below the wrist bone closer to the hand. I say it depends on the watch and depends on the attire and depends on what you’re doing and and depends on your body structure/proportions and whether you need full range of wrist movement. I know for me below the wrist looks so much more elegant. Also it’s good to get other opinions. So good video. I did the same searching YT for other opinions on wearing two watches - left wrist mechanical wrist watch and right wrist my fitness tracker. As always do you bro. Plus on you the watch below the wrist bone closer to your hand looks better, more stylo.

Its all about how you are build, many can not wear it like you because of the bone placement and vice versa. In the end of the day just wear it as you like and enjoy it. It doesn't matter what other people think. The importance is that you feel comfortable wearing it like that. Btw it does look better on you below the bone so you are not wrong. I think your bone is placed higher that is why. Mine is placed closer to the hand making it uncomfortable to wear it like you.

I cant undertand how people wear it above the wrist bone for a few reasons, firstly to stop it sliding down they either must have huge wrist bones or have the watch too tight, the arm tapers towards the hand, so unless its tight it will slide down following the taper, the other thing is, if i wear a watch above the bone i always get the feeling of wanting to pull it down, a bit like when you wear a shirt with too short of a sleeve length, you are always going to be tugging at the sleeve thinking your gonna make it fit, :) we have all done it :)

I wear an Apple Watch 7 and an Ultra on different days; I tend to pull them down towards my hand as I think it looks better on me, plus it does feel odd riding high on my forearm - almost like wearing high-water pants LOL. Its called wristwatch not forearm watch.Looks stupid on some photos you showed,to high on hand.Dont know who dicided to show these absurd tips ,everyone on internet says the same,I just cant agree.Watch falls down eventually on most of the people wrists, probably on yours also when moving.People telling above the wristbone but when I watch their KZread videos ,watch falls down on their wrist just where the watch should be.

Well said! Even people that have a MASSIVE wrist bone and super tight bracelet or strap will find that it slides down to the wrist. That is where a wristwatch should be worn in my opinion.

Only someone new to watches wears it below the wrist bone and does not get it sized properly. You have no range of motion and it digs into your wrist every time you bend the wrist back.

People like me that have a small wrist bone only have that option. I've been wearing watches like this for many years and have not encountered any issues.

Wearing a watch above the bone is so silly, it's like wearing jeans under your armpit.

From a marketing perspective, it inevitably draws more attention to the video :). The type of watch was never mentioned but you pointed it out. This is applicable for any wristwatch brand/reference :).
