Lmaoo... But that is just the skin. It has no impact on the gameplay. I am not entirely sure but this skin is from the Mod version of the game. He has only his Katana, Kusamibaru in his Right Hand but he does have an arsenal of weapons for his Left Prosthetic Arm

I think maybe they were counting the number of unique weapon movesets. There are 31 different weapon types in the base game and then a few individual weapons with special movesets. Many of the 308 are just stat shuffles otherwise

Sekiro is the definition of git gud, you can't get over levelled and beat a boss.

@@NiKhiL_181 Yeah but the health boost is capped in endgame and exchanging exp for damage gets very expensive very fast. There are a lot harder bosses than Genichiro, in fact I'd go as far as to say what your suggesting makes the game harder as your trivialising what most people would consider there most important learning experience in Sekiro

I remember the fan theories that since Elden Ring most likely takes place chronologically before Sekiro, the Rivers of Blood IS the red Mortal Blade, prior to it being found and refined by the Senpou Temple monks

@@comictitan4509 not possible. the red mortal blade kills whoever draws it. not to mention the size difference and effects. the gracious gift of tears is an odachi, and ROB is a normal katana. GGT also has a red and black smoke effect left behind after the swing which increases it's range, and ROB has a blood splash when using corpse piler.

@@Nova11435 Well, as I said, it’s a fan theory. It’s meant for fun, not 100% possibility. So: ROB is very rough, the blade misshapen versus RMB’s clean, smooth edge. ROB leaves a trail of blood, RMB leaves a trail of noxious gas. ROB was famous for being used to bring down opponents far greater in power and vitality than the wielder by both Okina and the Tarnished, RMB can pierce armor and shields and slay things that cannot die. All of the similarities basically sum up to the theory: The Senpou monks found the Rivers of Blood katana likely washed ashore from the Lands Between and reforged it, adding more metal and increasing the size of its blade to cover up the misshapen core mass and then sticking a bigger handle on it, turning it from an uchigatana to an odachi. Then it was blessed by the Divine Dragon (or however it was given its unique ability), and the instant kill failsafe was included as a security measure.

BUT I do love more these single weapon games because they tell a story, you develop a bond and respect for the weapon, it will become a part of you

Well, it's a katana your master gives back to you, but I'm pretty sure Owl was the one who initially gave you that sword and Kuro kept it for safe keeping after you, uh, took a nap.

And that's all you need. No special points or armor sets. Just you, your blade, and fresh water.

Kusabimaru is built different

It is the simplicity of sekiro that I love over any other souls game

Shurikens, flame barrels, an axe, firecrackers, combat arts.

That "single katana" was more than enough to clean house with all the bosses

Which goes to show you that there's a huge gap between a legendary weapon and an ultimate weapon

the only "OP BLEED BUILD!!!" in Sekiro is the trail of blood that your enemies leave behind when you actually GIT GUD

Sekiro was the true git gud game. There were very little moments where you can cheese the boss, usually by manipulating the AI (for example lady butterfly using side step and light attack) or by stun locking with the tools ( for example phase 3 of real Monk)

Don’t fear the man who’s uses many weapons. Fear the man who mastered a single one.

when you die tens of times but learn all your opponent moves and counterattack at perfect timing, the taste of victory is just something else. i myself fought isshin for 3 whole days till i finally won. even if you are weak you can still win with positive consistency.

Yeah noticed how much more polished that "single katana 💀" is compared to any other weapon in all soulslike games 😂
