If you put it in 0.25 speed, you can see that the sword didn't hit the base at all, it just hit the tip of the squares right in front of it. It wasn't a bug, just extreme luck from blue

Spinning slashes might look fancy, but the real money is on those occasional straight(ish) stabs.

Depends on the circumstance. The stabs are good for worming your way into territory during a push, but afterwards whirlwinds are what clear up the gaps and secure the position. Plus, if you go slow enough it becomes essentially a wider, more risky stab.

This was great! While i feel sad to have two terrible predictions in a row (yellow then lime), i am amazed at the climax between red and blue! For a moment, i thought blue had it when "they got their spy" in red's territory, but then red got two (maybe three) of their own on blue's side, getting the W!

@@lostmarbles2d Maybe also make it so that weapon hits can 'kill' marbles? That way a plinko on the side for choosing weapons could be an effective respawn delay mechanism.

@@SeanMirrsen definitely want to add that in future, maybe something like an archer. For now I've left it out because there can be some inconsistency between hitting a marble and converting a block that in turn touches the marble to push it backwards, so from a viewer perspective it could sometimes appear "random" whether a marble inflicts a hit or not

Next one has different weapons, but powerups is something I haven't thought of, maybe I'll add that to a "duel" variant :)

That sounds like it could be a "Marble Siege", which is a format I haven't made yet. Otherwise, check out MIKAN and Carson Jay Marbles, two of the bigger channels in this niche, they might have a few videos similar to what you describe.
