I blame vanilla for this. Wings give completely unrestrained movement, which forces every boss to have these absurd bullet hell attacks to be challenging. It also wouldn't hurt if modders could come up with a few more attacks than shooting a circle of projectiles and dashing at you.

I mean there really isn’t much else you can do, pretty much the only combat mechanic you didn’t mention is shield parries but that kinda goes into dashing. it’s a 2d game so all you can do is attack in 2d, which is contact attacks and projectiles.

To be 100% honest, probably not. If a fight is longer than even a minute I probably won’t do too well LOL. I have a history of wrist injuries and problems which has seems to have messed a ton with my gaming endurance. Might see if it’s compatible with Fargo’s Hyper Mode and mess around sometime though 🤔 I have tried Expert Blushiemagic a few years ago and I beat it but definitely wasn’t close to no-hitting it at all.
