    PQ main guns have a fixed value for module HP. Its only torps and secondaries that have random values.

    This is what I was going to say as well. Main Turret HP is fixed across all ships. I'm trying to recall if AA mounts roll in the start as well as the secondary and torp mounts. I want to say they don't but don't quote me on that.

    The last thing the game needs is another Conde or Annapolis, so I'm fine with this and Novosibirsk being average.

    This is not even “average” when it comes to superships. It has too many downgrades such as no spotter plane, no unique upgrade. Also venezia does out-dpms piomonte. Guns are 254mm, this makes AP and SAP much more stronger than we already have and gives the ability to penetrate every battleship’s deck armor with SAP but still it costs for spotter plane and unique upgrade which gives +2 smoke generators and reduces the cooldown of smoke generators %50, so you can get lighthouse build and shoot more often than this to farther ranges than this. I mean yes, hindenburg out-dpms clausewitz but clausewitz is reasonable since it has more range, more armor and still carries the spotter plane.

    This easily could have been the supership Giga Def AA ship given the 76mm otomelaras. Wouldn’t you want a big flak bubble to obliterate super CVs?

    @@SteelxWolf AA values have also not got any special things because of Italian AA range is shitty. So basicly a tier 10 AA based cruiser have better AA than piomonte. Also having better AA values means nothing against average CV players, they don’t bother against even something like a halland these days and they can make their drops. Getting better AA isn’t preventing CVs to drop on you.

    @@SteelxWolf well, funny button doesn’t mean nothing. Clausewitz, patrie, novosibirsk and devastation also hasn’t got funny buttons but they all have their gimmicks. Such as novosibirsk have better dispersion than petro. Or clausewitz have more armor and range as supership gimmick without any downgrades. Patrie has an additional turret which empowers the main battery republique already has. Devastation has more guns and nearly 20k additional hp. Piomonte is not in need of funny button to be a supership. Also what can they give it? Burst fire with SAP?

    I heard about the turret health values from a Flamu video a little while back. There was a mod that you could use to check values during game play. I haven't got it as I try to forget about it.

    I don't think main battery turrets have variable HP, 'only' secondaries and torp tubes.

    I don't know. Main turrets on the same ship seem to have different levels of survivability in different matches.

    @@AllAhabNoMoby That's more a function of placement near the superstructure where most everyone aims to hit and that turret usually having a much higher barbette which can also KO the turret if its hit too much.

    @@AllAhabNoMoby because it’s serverside(RNG based) calculation as every other thing in the game. They have a base HP that can be different for every single turret based on RNG and system is multiplying this base HP pool, this is a RNG based process too. Sometimes it doesn’t multiplies, sometimes it multiplies with 4, sometimes it multiplies with 2 etc etc… WG kind of shit.

    I really like your playing style, you always proactively push forward in every match, I'm also a person who likes brawls instead of camping and looking at each other at a distance of 20km, that's really bad and WG still can't fix it. I have learned a lot from your gameplay, please make more videos, PQ.

    I also like to push but more often than not I get focusfired by the entire flank. Everyone just stays back and plays around islands, meta currently is a bit annoying. Maybe it's not the right time for light cruisers.

    I think WG should increase the rewards for frontline players, it helps the game to be less passive

    Hey PQ, I've noticed in your videos that the symbols for repair and heal consumables, as well as rewards dont look the same as default, as well as the counter showing heal potential, which I would find very useful. Is this something I can change in game settings or is it a texture pack or something of the sort? Thanks!

    These are from a modpack. Just google "aslains wows" or "modstation wows". That's the 2 common modpacks most people use. There are hundreds of mods inside this packs. I personally prefer Aslains but thats up to you, both will do.

    He used a mod I believe. I use the “mod station” which is a WG official mod. It has lots of icon/visual mods. Pretty painless to install/use. Give it a try. PQ talked about his mods in his video about how to aim.

    Seems like WG learned a lesson from the busted early superships. Newer superships feel like only a slight upgrade over their tier X counterparts.

    Venezia is my favorite ship in the game, and I'm kinda happy that Piemonte isn't incredibly better. Venezia with leg mod, Sansonetti and spotter is just amazing!

    I run range mod on my venezia and slap sansonetti in it, its nice to get the extra range tbh, kinda comfortable with it :v

    Superships are OP but it only meant for rich players because at every end of a match you always got a minus 100k to 200k credit no matter win or not but it should be at least minimum 300k damage to get positive credit

    That would change nothing. There are players that happily eat such credit loses for having "sense of pride and accomplishment" to be able to completely shit on other people. Balancing OP features around high cost is retarded idea, gatekeeping players and unhealthy for the game I could run supershits for 1000s of battles doing nothing and still be fine, yet some players have to grind for hours just afford couple games. Tune down supershits (you know which), remove insane cost, call it t11. Done But wont happen, this is weegee and they dont admit to failures

    1:46 Doesn't range mod slightly increased your accuracy. And that will improve your actual dpm.

    @@logicinjector5402for Napoli it’s a large increase in accuracy, just like with Petro. They both have the weird dispersion curve. This ship is probably basically unaffected though.

    Considering how broken Annapolis and Conde are, it’s probably for the best and I wouldn’t even object if they removed their abilities to those two ships

    After 9 months this ship has the highest win rate and highest average damage of all super ship cruisers across all skill levels of players on NA server

    The fact that this _thing_ is a 1930's design (for a SovUn contract), but has *1960s* OTO-Melara autofire 3" AA proves once again Gaijin can't even do their "what-if" ships right.

    I'd be OK with nixing the F mode on all the supers, but it seems like everyone but Annapolis is getting screwed. While Conde is arguably stronger, you can't play it in CB right now. Thus, Anna is 9 out of 10 games in CB right now.

    piemonte is also likely having a range nerf due to weegee anticipating a lot of people using sansonetti in her. having SAP, sansonetti and range would be absurd seems pretty resonable to me. sadly for eyetye fans WG seems to have dug a big hole with SAP where ships have to carry big nerfs when they get those shells

    I'm pretty sure main turrets don't have variable HP; only secondaries, AA, and torp tubes (because torpedo DDs need to be nerfed but not gunboats...)

    Considering one type thrives on staying hidden the entire match and never taking risks for kills while the other type has to essentially stay permanently spotted to get anything done, I'd say it's fair

    @@davidpotts7116 Your primary armament being permanently disabled is bullshit. Having the amount of damage required to do so be random is bullshit with bullshit sprinkles. And if you think that torpedo DDs are the problem ATM, when the DDs being restricted in clan battles etc are all totally-not-cruiser gunboats...

    @@nlb137 considering some of my main ships are torpedo boats, yes I think that they are and will always be stronger than gunboats. The way spotting and concealment works have been a consistent problem in this game since it’s conception, and torpedo boats being able to permanently spot the entire enemy team while putting themselves in no danger doing so is already strong. Adding on the ability to actively counter the only disengagement option that surface ships get in this game (smokescreens) just makes them even better. The reason gunboats get restricted in cbs is because the gamemode itself is inherently more aggressive, but that doesn’t mean torpedo boats never get picked. My clan consistently gets good results just by sending our shima to the enemy’s strong flank, completely shutting down pushes while the enemy has no way to detect them. The only ship that’s barely capable of doing so is a Nevesky (who would be detected anyway from firing their guns), as Ragnar, Smaland, and Gdansk are just not worth taking when compared to other gunboats like Kleber or even Haru. Don’t assume that everyone who disagrees with you doesn’t know what they’re talking about.
