Nashville feels like home to Evan, just like Carlin’s parents place feels like home to her. A good quality wooden swing set will wear out about the time the kids loose interest in it. Sealing the wood if it’s self. Hilt is the key. Gotta let that wood dry out 6-10 months before staining or painting it. Y’all are such a cute sweet family. Love those sweet kids smiles!!!

Carlin, been praying for you since the beginning. I was diagnosed January with Epilepsy. Seen a new neurologist and he seems to think I don't have seizures at all. So will be going for a second EEG. I focal awareness seizures. Living with over 20 years with different neurological health issues. Carlin you are not alone. It can be so hard to wrap your mind around what is going on. As well as making sure you have the right medical team taking care of you. We can pray to our Almighty Physician who keeps his hands around us daily, while we wait for answers. Will continue to pray for you as well as for Evan and your children. Just know your family are not alone. Hugs from Wisconsin

They have support service dogs for people who pass out a lot. It’s very fascinating. They warn you before you fall. Praying for answers for you! I know how that is when you know something isn’t right but nothing is found… everything comes back normal. Praying.

No news from the dr office is great! It’s when they call you on the way home or with in hours of getting the test results that is worrisome. I’ll never forget when I found out my daughter needed kidney surgery. I wasn’t even 1/2 way home from her having a VCUG test when the dr called saying she was going to need surgery. We unfortunately have had a lot of medical issues over the years so when I don’t hear back from a doctor for days. I know I can breathe easy!

Hey Carlin 🥰 - I totally get it when you say you are not ready to talk about it. I am having spinal surgery in 4 days (again). I have been waiting on this surgery for 10 months, most of that spent flat on my back in bed. I injured my back when I was 16 ( I am now 53) falling 3m down a waterfall on school camp. I have suffered ever since. You just get to the point where you are sick to death answering questions about your health. I would rather talk about my worm farm !! I am sending you all the strength and prayers you need to get through this rough patch in your life. There are ups and downs the whole way through life without having a problem with your health coming into the fact. If you are not wanting or ready to talk about this on your vlogs - don’t. It is no one’s business except those in your family and those you wish to include. I love watching you guys way over there - I am in a city called Townsville in North Queensland, Australia 🇦🇺. Look it up - you may want to live here instead of Nashville ! Love to you all - your #1 Aussie fan xxx❤

As a nurse, I always tell patients to get their results and don’t assume no news is good news. Sometimes things can fall through the cracks and we don’t want that to happen to you.

Exactly. We're short-staffed everywhere, burnt out, and things fall through unfortunately. I ALWAYS encourage my patients to advocate for themselves, follow up with everything, get clarification on everything, and don't be afraid to ask ALL of their questions!

@@cindimiller6929 I had a hard time getting it out. They came in multiple times a day to glue some back down. I couldn’t get out of bed so I slept a lot. My granddaughter sat on the bed and they came running in because the weight shifted.

I went to the doctor for some blood work. The results were in two weeks prior to my appointment and I assumed all was good until I got there. He started with “ We got some things to discuss but first this…..”. Now I have more testing to do to identify what autoimmune disease I have. If you want to know your results call especially if it puts your mind at ease. I’ve learned never to assume no news is good news anymore.

Knoxville is Home Now. But it’s perfectly normal to feel that way Evan. You grew up there.

Evan and Carlin, really enjoyed your awesome video! Looks like Layla and Zade were having a ball at the splash pad. That'd feel good on this excessive heat warning day in Oklahoma. Evan's family is very supportive and there is a closeness there among family members. However, once married, you leave your family of origin and cleave to your wife and make your own family. This comes from someone who did not get to experience the leave and cleave. My husband when we were married cleaved more to family of origin rather than the family we were starting together.

My husband has a big one and also a smaller portable one. Make sure to take care of it always. Especially rain and for us snow. It is great you can even cook breakfast on it!

Love that grill and your egg cracking skills. Wow I’m impressed. Glad you can visit family often. Be thankful they are in easy driving distance. We have 1 1/2 hour to my MIL but 14 hours to my parents. So it’s great you have so much family nearby. Hope you get results soon on the scan.

I always keep y’all in my prayers. God only takes you to what he will walk you through. I’ve said that to myself every time something in my life is difficult. And it has always been right. God bless y’all!!!

I say YES to Nashville! Definitely know your family would love it! Plus all the help you would have with the kids. The only problem would be y’all’s jobs are in Knoxville. Nashville is a wonderful city all but the afternoon traffic! Which I know Knoxville has the same bad traffic problems. Thanks for sharing and I’m so glad Carlin is learning to love baseball ⚾️. Before you know it Zade will be big enough to play. I was a baseball Mom and loved it. My son played from 5 yrs until he was 17. Hope y’all have a blessed week!

Love the new pool and decking, it’s absolutely beautiful! On another note that usually makes people uncomfortable … it did me in the beginning of educating myself fully on subject. This comment comes bse I care about each of you so much… I started educating myself on parasites. Discovered more than I bargained for or thought on the subject… any that eat out, eat pork of any kind, fish, sushi etc, have parasites. They are know to cause pain, joint inflammation, lethargy, seizures, lupus, MS, gut issues, etc etc…I ask you educate by reading in-depth along with peoples testimonies… my whole family did parasite cleanse over 4 years ago and have been doing them regularly since. Truth is we each have our own story and ways we do it. But, feel better getting rid of diagnosed issues that now, well we no longer have. Saddest part is finding out, doctors are not going to check or do proper test, period. I guarantee if you bring info to an office visit, their not going to take you seriously most likely not believe what you educated self about. Sometimes we HAVE to discern our own health. I have gone barefoot my whole life and these can be picked up from this, although going barefoot is very healthy. We have used diamond G terp, Fenbenadol type cleanse which they use this for healing cancer if patients med team uses, stories on this that nan had vet ask a friend and prescribed for him healing his cancer. Anyways, hope you look into this more.

As a person who has been through significant health issues for the past two years (seven cardio versions in 14 months), and whose doctor and EP department refused to respond to even other doctors who went to bat for me at the Clinic, believe me when I say that even though it seems like you should be able to trust your doctor and his/her staff, you have to advocate for, or a more accurate term is, FIGHT for yourself/loved one. It seems that since Covid (my experience) there is greater dysfunction between staff, doctor, and patient. Be proactive; call every three days until you get an answer. I have had medical people who have coached me in how to get the help that I need. If they don’t call you, call them, and don’t stop until you get an answer. To not keep up with things may jeopardize Carlin’s health. It did mine.

Hospitals and doctors office usually have the electronic chart that you are able to download on your phone and see your medical records, scans bloodwork, etc. if you have not heard from the drs you can check your chart to see if it’s there. Hope that helps 🙏

You have the humidity, here in Michigan we have had the smoke from the Canadian fires, and you can smell it. It looks like fog. People with breathing issues have been having a really hard time. If you ever want to go someplace really beautiful for vacation, the Upper Peninsula in Michigan, is so beautiful, so many beautiful places to visit in the U.P., but probably best to go during the summer.

You'll pay a higher interest rate, the housing market is crazy. You won't find a house in your price range. Your house will go higher even $100,000 over what you paid. New builds are going for less then existing and you never should pay what they ask, it's like buying a car don't pay asking and wheel n deal. But the way the housing market is right now. If you bought a house at these high rates then everything crashed and you couldn't afford your house you'll never get our it what you paid, you'll be forced to foreclose. The economy is soon to crash, do not move

Evan's family is so wonderful and its no wonder you visit often as you can. When you got sick that one time; all of them jumped into take care of you while you were on the floor. What if you guys bought a second home as a come stay and visit house so all you got to do is go there and stay a few weeks or longer. Your siblings could come and stay at that place too. So many what ifs and could be's but it all comes down to who would you miss the most.

Evan you're so right about making the best memories doing things that don't cost $! My family didn't have alot of money but we sure we were rich in other ways. We spent time together and I have the best memories of growing up in the 80's and 90's going fishing with my daddy, catching lizards in the little stream behind the house, going for walks with my mama and her tucking me in at night telling me stories about her childhood. We went on one big vacation to Disney and honestly it was so hectic I can't even remember many details. It seems like parents nowadays concentrate so hard on taking their kids to all these expensive places and doing all the things everyone else is doing but your kids will remember the time y'all spent together...the everyday things

Carlin’s family is so supportive too, they just have SO many in their family. Just because we don’t see every second of every day of their lives doesn’t mean they don’t see, or get support from, her family also🤷‍♀️. I’ve seen plenty of times where Warden or Jackson or Isaiah or Trace or Gil is helping Evan with a project. and Ellie or Addallee or Callie or Michaela is there with Carlin or is babysitting, or Kelly is visiting and helping Carlin with something, 🤷‍♀️.
