Jacoby listened to the song before the final mix and release. He loved it immensely. Same song basically exact same words, but much much more feelings. Emotional. There's a video of Jacoby and Ronnie listening to the song together. Great video.

I've seen the footage of Coby listening to the whole song and even he was blown away, Ronnie looked like a kid showing his favorite teacher the best home work ever haha

I look at it like Papa Roach showed the anger of the lyrics, Ronnie brought out the sadness and desperation of the lyrics. 😢

Lead singer Ronnie Radke definitely has a strong connection to this song. He has had a difficult life. His mother was an addict and abandoned him and his brother when he was very young. I saw that someone in your comments suggested doing The Drug in me and the Reimagined version of it that was done I think about 11 years after the original and I would suggest the same thing 😊 a lot of reactor’s do them together in the same reaction. Prepare to be surprised again 😁♥️

The best description I've heard for explaining the differences between the 2 versions is Papa Roach's version is the angsty teen that's full of anger and defiance and this version is the middle-aged adult that's at his wit's end that's been beaten down by life. Both versions are outstanding, but this one justs hits sooooo much harder, that i have to go with it over the original.

THe buildings collapsing is showing how your life feels as you face deep depression leading to suicidal thoughts. Then the bridge where it all stops and the lyrics are layered with, "I can't go on living this way," is that moment of last resort. Do you end it all or decide to make a change and fix what's broken that led to your world falling apart. Hence the buildings rebuilding showing the choice that was made.

I have heard Papa Roaches version so many times one of my favorites to workout too. I feel this version brings this song in a different light. Like a different meaning or just a way to really hear what he is saying. Both versions are great and I love them both.

For me the big difference is to know this isn't screaming it's somebody yelling at the top of their lungs out of frustration and angry

Took me ages to click on that at the very start with the camera falling down upside down the camera is falling in reverse, Ronnie is a genius

The original was, to me, as if someone full of rage was running headlong to take the fight to the enemy. This version to me is them returning from the battle realizing that they were not the same person who went to fight. Hope that makes sense. Speaking from life experience here as well.

Both this performance by Falling In Reverse and the arrangement of this song are as different as night and day compared to the last performance from Falling In Reverse and the original version of the song. I actually like this version better than the original. 🙌✌️

I liked "The Drug In Me Is Reimagined" then "I'm Not A Vampire Revamped" are the best 2 songs I like from Ronnie.

The beginning was the trying to hide your pain, then the first build is the cry for help, and the end is finding the help you and you might be crying but it is a happy cry.

Hi Ace & Kathy ! Loving watching with you here and new subs exploring your channel. Because the reimagined content spares no expense of the visuals, I wondered if I'd like the song as much on a playlist. It look ages to get The Drug In Me is reimagined off rotation and now I listen to this version of Last resort all the time. It's not the extravagant MVs - it's Ronnie's artistic talents, vocals and ability to pull through the lyrics. Falling in Reverse broadened my mindset on music, not being afraid to mix the genres because he can. Popular Monster, Watch The World Burn, the Trilogy (Losing My Mind, Losing My Life & Drugs). This version has been rattling round my head since it came out and the meaning with the feeling that the your world is collapsing in on you, dark, grey and empty. Keep telling people they'll be fine. We all wobble sometimes and need to know somebody cares 🤗 . It puts things back together on a bad day / period with genuine kindness, with less of a feeling for Ronnie to 'Watch The World Burn' !. Thanx x

Ronnie can and does do everything...sometimes standalone and sometimes all in the same song. He's brilliant.

Great reaction guys but I don’t believe you ever said which version of the song you thought was better like you stated you would once the song was over. I personally just think this version was far superior as much as I love Papa Roach. Ronnie just had a way of singing and expressing his feelings and emotions in his music and voice and it just makes it in my opinion on a whole other level. And I’m not even one who generally love music that hits the feels, I don’t know but I just usually don’t but this one for whatever reason hit me hardcore, I think it’s cause I can relate to a lot.
