Dunedin is the second-largest city in the South Island of New Zealand (after Christchurch), and the principal city of the Otago region. Its name comes from Dùn Èideann, the Scottish Gaelic name for Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland.
With an estimated population of 106,200 as of June 2020, Dunedin is New Zealand's seventh-most populous urban area.[6] However, due to historic, cultural and geographic reasons the city has long been considered one of New Zealand's four main centres.[a] The urban area of Dunedin lies on the central-eastern coast of Otago, surrounding the head of Otago Harbour, and the harbour and hills around Dunedin are the remnants of an extinct volcano. The city suburbs extend out into the surrounding valleys and hills, onto the isthmus of the Otago Peninsula, and along the shores of the Otago Harbour and the Pacific Ocean.
Larnach Castle (also referred to as "Larnach's Castle") is a mock castle on the ridge of the Otago Peninsula within the limits of the city of Dunedin, New Zealand, close to the small settlement of Pukehiki. It is one of a few houses of this scale in New Zealand. The house was built by the prominent entrepreneur and politician, William Larnach. Since 1967, the castle has been privately owned by the Barker family, and opened as a tourist attraction, as "New Zealand's only castle".
The castle and grounds are open daily to members of the public. The Larnach Castle gardens are one of only five gardens nationwide to have been given the rating of "Garden of International Significance" by the New Zealand Gardens Trust.

@@mattnattravelthat739 oh my goodness I had no idea about you guys going back into lock down. I’m sorry to hear this. Things have gone some what back to normal here. We still can’t drive across the border into the US yet. Americans can drive into Canada though which is super weird. I would have thought they would have opened both sides of the border or neither. That’s good that you’ll have some time to work on some videos. I hope it gets better for you soon. It’s Saturday 8:42pm. 😃 You’re living in the future. 😉

@@connectioncarousel Oh wow! That is super weird! Yes we had ONE case of the Delta Variant here and our government has decided to avoid more cases by going into Lockdown early. It's honestly not too bad because it gives us a chance to contain it. Yeah we pretty much back to normal for almost a year now!... then this happened. We had a travel bubble with Australia and the Cook Islands... so it was getting there, Nat and I have had our first dose of the Vaccine, just waiting on our second dose next week. Hopefully you have some more adventures coming up for us to watch? we see you've really taken to doing Shorts now which is super cool.
