Agreed!!! I opened the alley while I was in college. 16 lanes setting and dropping at one time from pure silence. Priceless!!!

As somebody who worked in a center for 20 + years I have to agree it is a satisfying sound.

I don't bowl anymore but it's Very cool to see the new generation of proprietors in the industry. If I'm ever in Las Vegas I will for sure see this place. Thanks for showing Simo's place and best wishes to him on its future success!

I know right man it’s cool to see the guys behind the scenes doing their everyday thing. I picked up bowling two years ago seriously. Almost about to break 200

DOPE. Simo is a cool dude and I was lucky enough to take a behind the scenes tour of the alley and he has definitely put a lot of time and effort into the Nerd. Awesome vid!

$10 to get on... but FREE to get off! 😆 Lol

The only ball to put in a lustre king is a plastic spare ball.

Glad to see that this bar is getting some love. This bar was super run down a couple years back.

I'm so pumped! Vegas is my home town so I'm definitely going to make sure to send bodies this way. I'll have to check it when I visit but I can still sell people on it!

Well, I used to be able to watch Brad and Kyle on the TV upstairs. 😂

Loved the video but wished the music was a bit softer. Simo speaks so softly and it wasn’t the easiest to hear him.

I swear I heard a million voices suddenly cry out “Michelangelo!” at once. Love the video. Great job guys!

silver projector screens are a hybrid of white and gray screens which shows a brighter picture overall (like a white) but also has a higher contrast for deeper darks (like a gray)

Whenever I want to go to Las Vegas for the first time, I might as well check it out.

WOW THAT IS IS SICK!!! YES, I was yelling...lol, so this is in Vega$!!! Darn we just moved from there 3 years ago in July! I just starting bowling again seriously when we moved to the South East...I would go to Red Rock to bowl with my kids, but now I'm back into it 1000% Storm and Roto Grip. So much change and Tang is in Vegas as well...WOW! Great Stuff...Wish we still lived there...for the golf and now the bowling! *Brad and Kyle I might be joining you membership! ;)

For the 100th sub episode you guys should have a house doubles to see who is the best doubles team in the house. Then hold a singles to see who is the best bowler in the house. I'm also up for the bohn brothers versus the tang brothers. Pretty entertaining line up.

I'm not sure how he got a hold of that vintage movie projector. I haven't worked in the movie theater for nearly 3 years, but I remember seeing one or two of those old sets taking up space in our projector room. That probably wasn't cheap to get either.

Kyle, in the video you said your shoulder is messed up. In another video I saw you put KT tape on your shoulder. By chance, what’s your shoulder problem? I have tendinitis in both of my shoulders that’s making bowling very difficult. I wish I could find something to quickly fix the issue. Simo, congrats on your gig at The Nerd. Looks like a great place.

I'm guessing they bowled but didn't include it in the video package. In once scene, Brad still has a tape strip on his thumb. I doubt he wore that over from another bowling center.

I'm old school and that arcade needs some 80's and 90's pinball machines! The Adaams Family, Indiana Jones, Terminator to name a few. Modern pinballs aren't bad either. Just not made like tanks like the 80's and 90's.

Two years ago, my non-drunk self and four drunk buddies stumbled into the Nerd around 2:00 AM one random weeknight. The place was dark and dank and not at all inviting. The bartender (the only guy working) said that bowling was free with a one-drink purchase. However, only 2 of the 8 lanes were even working and the lane we took had two balls jammed in the return (when we threw a ball, a different one would get billiarded out). The other lanes had various manner of "stuff" on them... lighting fixtures, chairs, etc. There were no scoring units. So we played a game... you must use a ball that is on the rack and in tennis shoes, put $1 a frame into a pot, first one to mark wins it. I think the pot got to $40. We decided to do it again, everyone put up a buck, the same guy bowled first, struck, then walked out the door. Even when we were at The Nerd, I didn't know if there was any way to make the bowling respectable... only 8 working lanes (at one time there were 12) and it was buried on the top floor of Neonopolis (if you don't know where that is or have walked past it and kept walking... well, that's the issue). So I am very glad that Simonson and the owners were able to make something of the place. Don't know if I'll be bothered to stop by next month, but its great that bowling has survived the necessary rehab.

Such a super cool alley! Definitely need to check it out when I'm in Vegas for Nationals. Why the hell do they have that instead of a mechanical bull? LOL

Spent so much money on metal slug 4 as a kid.

Not Impressed by this place honestly. Lifelong Vegas resident and we won’t go here. Way too many great places in town

I wish Simo could show the Back Area cause No Bowling Center Tour ends without a view from the Back Area and KZread Pinsetter Nerds (not mechanics) like me love the Pinsetters and the look of the Back Area.

Interesting place, definitely unique. But guys, you GOTTA remix the audio on here. Could hardly hear a thing that was said.
