he CAN go fully invisible, the translucent effect is only for you. (though if you bump into an enemy you become translucent for a split second.)

How it feels to play Spy "Oh dear, I appear to have spontaneously combusted into flames." If I get stabbed once, that spy is going to eat and shit flames/flares/buckshot until he changes classes.

Spy 101: - Spy's knife instant kills if you hit the enemy's back - Spy's cloak makes him 100% invisible to enemy players, except if you touch an enemy or take damage, making you partially visible for a second. - Spy cannot attack while using cloak, and cloak makes a sound when deactivating, so you will always be warned if a Spy decloaks behind you. - Spy can disguise as other players. Disguises cannot increase your health or base speed. Enemy Sentry's will not target a Spy disguised as the sentry's team. - Attacking with a knife or gun removes the disguise. - Headshots are only available for one spy revolver: The Ambassador. Despite being very fun to use, it's actually one of the weakest spy revolvers. - Spy has many knives, the Kunai is one of the most hated, because it's a high risk high reward weapon, that allows good Spy's to play really aggressively and stomp noobs. - My favorite knife is the "Your Eternal Reward" which allows Spy to attack without losing his disguise. It's the sneakiest weapon in the game. - Good players have many anti-spy habits, so Spy balance wise is the scariest class to new players, but the weakest class to experienced players. - Trickstabs are an advanced technique where a Spy moves unpredictably to trick a player into partially turning around, giving a small window for the Spy to abuse the generous hitbox of backstabs.

"Surely there's like an EMP grenade or some shit, I don't know." It's not a grenade, but there actually is something close to that function called a Sapper. It's a basic part of the arsenal of... the Spy. But never fear, there actually *is* a way to short out his cloak, but a mere Sapper can't handle that. It takes something far more advanced, something far more sophisticated to overcome his invisibility technology. It takes... a jar full of piss.

Every weapon in TF2 has different stats and abilities. For instance the Kunai for spy: On Backstab: Absorbs the health from your victim. -55 max health on wearer.(After that you only have 70hp) Start off with low health Kill somebody with this knife Steal all of their health.(And overheal from medic beam) So you are very squishy but if you keep backstabbing You get Overhealed and side effects like afterburn or bleading don't apply after every kill making you very tanky(Killing a full health heavy gives you 300hp overheal). The overheal wears off but you likely kill another guy for the next health boost. AND you got a primary(guns) and secondary(watches for making you invisible) with different stats that you can change.

Next up is Scout on the playlist. Also as for the game, it is still worth playing. There are Valve hosted servers and Community hosted Servers. Valve servers are the ones that aimbots target and it gets bad during times there are less players. Community Servers have their own admins or protection that keeps bots out, but some community servers also use plugins/mods to alter the default game to become more spicy with randomizer stuff, skins, etc. Some Community Servers are also just where more experienced players go so casuals can't get a good early experience to get better. Currently the community wants Valve to work on the bot situation for Valve servers as to make the experience better for those that want more lax gameplay instead of having to only go to community servers. Valve still sells microtransactions so it is their responsibility to keep player experience healthy.

if you want to go down the deranged/insane path you could react to dr. lalve's meet the team but it's demoman, not to mention his tiny desk engineer fever dream-like videos

Community Servers are the safest way to play TF2, AND IT IS VERY FUN! No bots, no cheaters! I recommend Uncle servers but there are others that are cool too. Even unique game modes like Medieval Fights, no guns only Meele and Crossbows from Medic.

Now you need to watch Pootis Engage if you are going to keep watching TF2 content, fan made animation, full of anime references, funny as hell

Can you imagine discovering and wanting to play the game during the bot crisis? That hurts my soul dearly. #FixTF2

you should play some tf2! tho it is hard to get set up properly with settings and hud and such, but if you have someone help you its the best game ever!
