It would be awesome if they added tagging! Like you could spot an animal and name it, so when you’re looking through your binoculars, in the top right of the screen with the other info, would be it’s name. That’d be amazing!

Maybe less of a just spot and name they could make it more realistic by making a tracking gun so you can shoot an animal without killing it and can wait for it to grow and then you can go and track it. Edit: By tracking gun I mean like a gun that shoots tracking darts or bullets into the animal so you can know there locations

@@ScarecrowTheHunter Absolutely! This is what I've been waiting for. So many good ideas in this sim and all the little details are making it something special. As a 900hr COTW player, as much as i had a good time with it, this clearly is a far superior hunting experience. COTW has it's place and will keep a good audience but for anyone serious about their hunting sims WOTH looks to be the future. Both EW and the Ultimate Hunting teams are going to have to up their game. So great for us players to have serious competition in the hunting sim genre at last! Thanks for all your WOTH content so far.. been loving it. Keep up the good work fella :) Happy hunting!

I would love to see trail cams added. It would allow you to watch your animals grow and also see where they are.

Imagine they add in the feature of deadheads so that when you discover a potential target buck has died you can wonder around his area and find his deadhead aka his skull with the horns on it and be able to claim it as a lost animal

I feel like the deer need to go to "old" after mature and go from a 5 star back to a 4 star. Just so we can tell if an animal has reached and/ or passed its max potential. Maybe if you mention that in a video they will pick it up quicker? I don't think just me saying it does much xd

I wish they could add a way to know how many years old the animals are when they're spotted in binoculars. I understand they want you to use your own knowledge, but it would be a great help when they are at mature age. Makes it a little easier to keep from losing trophies. Even if it was a perk you have to unlock or available only on lower difficulties.

I have never played or had an interest in a hunting sim game before. I live in the UK amd have always envied the fact that in the US there is so much opportunity to hunt. I will be pre ordering this today and look forward to learning all about hunting! Great vids. Liked and subscribed

It would be sick if they added trail camera so when you see a 4 star you can put a trail camera up and check the trail camera and take it to your computer, also having tree stands and bows would go perfect! But if they did it I think they might have to slow down the ageing

With this being a aspect of the game we need to be able to name the animals so we can really see how they grow!!

I saw someone comment about hopefully being able to nickname animals so we can follow that animal and watch them grow. I would love to see this feature added

The graphics are amazing! I'm in a COTW group in Facebook and all the salty people who don't have next gen rigs are all saying the graphics are bad. I guess they're just salty. Can't wait to take down some game in this one!!!

You should have a WOTH series where you watch potential animals growing up and dying naturally and kind of make a story of each of their lives. I'd be up for watching that :D

Thanks for the video. Helps alot. Watched my first 4 star mule deer die. I hope to see more advanced stuff with herd management. Food plots and a calander. To track and tag animals. Allowing users to grow monster deer with out always killing them.

Played 30h so far and absolutely loving it. Love your content. Do you know if there is any info on the lifecycle/time to age etc in this game or is it just guesswork for now?

That's pretty cool! Now how do you know it's the one you've been scouting? Do they stick to the same herds and need zones?

I promise not to abuse the photo-mode, but man... that is one cool feature if you use it like that. So cool to see them up close.

I don’t know if this is how it works in game but in real life there are scenarios in which that as a buck gets older they can actually get smaller. So in real life a WT deer’s peak should be 4-5,6 years old. After that I’ve witnessed some actually getting smaller so if that worked in game that would be just another insane mechanic

Crow probably know this because he is a hunter, but not waiting for your animal to die before chasing is called bumping. And you’ll chase for a lot longer.

Speaking of watching animals age😂. I've just started the game as with many others I'm exploring the valley region seeing how far I can go. I was in the northmost part of the start area leading into the swamps when I spotted a 5 star mature moose. Managed to put 2 7mm-08 rounds in his gear box. As I see his head dip as he's running the breaker to my room shorts. Unfortunately it reset me to before I had shot him and all I could do was watch as he walks away into un-purchased lands without providing a shot. A short time skip and a false hope later he had been replaced by a young 1 star and I'm heartbroke.

A good video. I got the game when it came out. I wish they would make it so you could fast travel to hunting towers and not just the lodge also able to speed time up in game and much more animals to hunt.

I got a mule deer off the top floor balcony of bear den ranch 430 meters out an posted him up on the wall beside the door leading out to it 😅

Question. Can you find rare furs in way of the hunter? I have not been able to find information on that besides heresay.

Add tagging, trail cams, and an interactive map that shows migration patterns in the hardcore mode.

You want to hunt low fitness(score) bucks (male) so that the high fitness bucks genetics spreads instead of the low fitness.

so about how many in game days does each age take? like to go from adult to mature about how long does it seem to take?

Bought the game yesterday and have been enjoying it. My biggest pet peeve is the scoring of the antlers...It does not match how our Big Game animals are scored IRL. I hope the Devs do something about that... Oh and the wind speed being measured in ft/s instead of mph. Come on man!!

Maybe if you wanted for more clarity on markings of the animal use the cinematic camera for identifiers to make sure it’s the same buck that’s what I do I found I was tracking multiple bucks instead of just one lol hope you don’t make that mistake

It'd be amazing if the deer dies of age but doesn't just disappear but allows you to find it, and "claim" it to see the stats of it even if you didn't shoot it. It also just wouldn't allow you to taxidermy it, but only sell it since you didn't shoot it

So how do you want to grow big bucks and how does it work? Like what are the different stages of age and at what age and rating do you want to keep them and kill them?

I grew up with the Deer Hunter and Rocky Mountain Trophy Hunter series, and later the Cabelas hunting games. After that the hunting genre largely gave up. Games got more simple and arcade like to match up with phones and consoles. It would be nice to see more realism yet be brought back.

Can the deer randomly grow kickers or drop tines? Or be more likely by great genetics and management? I feel like a level 4 or 5 should have the chance to produce more realistic and cool looking racks than the same ole perfect typical non realistic 7x7 lol I just dont understand how they cant implement that at random chances and let it have small genetic probability.

i will also add the leaderboards for the animals like hc have, there is no more challenging for me to try to hunt the top animal from worldwide each season...

Do you play at 1080p or just record at 1080p? I'm wondering because I run a GTX1080 , but I also have a 1440p monitor... Which would probably be worse than trying to run a 1070 at 1080p.

Yes but it works different than most games. When a deer either dies of old age or gets killed a new young buck will spawn in its place. Then it will go through its growing process and eventually die off as well

Yeah.. but how do you know how to wait for a 4 star to grow to 5. And when to take a 4 star or less because of bad genetics?

if you hunt I think 4 animals by rifle without a hideout or hunting stand in a short while in one place (before you move elsewhere to hunt) the zone disappears. I am not sure if it is perma gone or if it comes back when other zones of the same species get moved.

one question will the game work well on my RTX 2070 super and i7 because if it can’t handle it I will get it on my PS5
