Lou Malnati's is actually pretty old school deep dish, but I understand it might not be for everyone. Try Pequod's next time. Instead of the buttery, pie-like crust of a regular deep dish, Pequod's has a more caramelized pan crust. Hope y'all enjoyed your time in Chicago. Come back in the summer some time. That's when the city shines, and the architecture sunset tour is worth it.

This brought back so many good memories of my childhood + some great ideas about new places to check out with my kids when I visit home.

Put on your list for next time Sean: Science & Industry Museum Field Museum (tell Sue the T-Rex I sent you) The planetarium Do a cruise on our beautiful Lake Michigan and Navy Pier Great Choice of Pan Pizza! Love Lou Malnati’s, other options are Gino’s and Uno or Due… both Uno/Due are owned by same org, my favorite pizza, though, is Georgio’s in Crystal Lake, IL For hot dogs I love Portillo’s Lots of cool restaurants near my office in Fulton Market, I LOVE Carnivale Six Flags in Gurnee! Take the train from the city out to Libertyville and it’s a short ride in a cab or car rental. The Botanical Gardens in Glencoe Come for the air show in August! But my favorite time of the year is probably June and October

The most iconic deep dish pizza places in Chicago are Uno's/Due's, Gino's & Chicago Pizza & Oven Grinder's. Uno's is a traditional deep dish, Gino's has a cornmeal crust & Chicago Pizza & Oven Grinder's is made in a bowl with the crust on the top. When it is served the bowl is inverted so that the top becomes the container for the pizza. (My personal favorite.)

I love Giordano’s deep dish better. If you don’t want deep dish I like Beggars and Aurelio’s. If you ever step foot in Chicago again you would be doing yourself a disservice by not trying Batter & Berries in Lincoln park. It’s a 100 outta 10 all around. You will not be disappointed. It is amazing every single time! Happy birthday to Sean and check out the city next time when it’s summer ❤️

Looks like you had an awesome visit to my home town. Next time you're there, try the pizza at Home Run Inn. It's a Chicago staple. Also, your channel has me hooked and excited to expand my travels. Thinking about doing a 14 city challenge since my daughter turns 14 this year.

Next time you are in Chicago, try Pequod's for pizza. I think it's way better than Lou Malnatti's. Also, Garrett's popcorn is definitely a Chicago must try. So you guys did a good job.

I live in Chicago and have not even heard of those Asian cuisine restaurants. Best Pizza is in the Wicker Park neighborhood across street from Roby hotel. Shaws is good but Joe's Crab Shack is better !

Next time- Gino’s East Pizza and Luke’s Lobster

You all have to try pequod’s pizza next time you are in Chicago :)
