We Visit The Brevard Zoo | Melbourne, FL
We checked one more destination off the list that we had not been to previously over the weekend while visiting the Brevard Zoo. This zoo is small, but packs a lot in with creative habitats and a great variety of animals.

We've had a couple of really good trips to this zoo in the past. It's a nice collection! Our last trip to Central Florida Zoo had a private event on that really bumped up the numbers. For a small zoo it was really noticeable. We wanted to get up to Jacksonville zoo at some point too, but we'd probably do that as an overnight stay.

I’m friends with one of the keepers at the Jacksonville zoo, but we’ve never been there. We’ll have to get over that way at some point. CFL Zoo is pretty small, so I can imagine how cramped it would be with a private event happening on the same day.

Went today for the first time, enjoyed it thoroughly. Very pleasant day walking thru the different areas. Will go back again, and the price was okay.

The "splash pad" area at the Brevard Zoo is awesome with the big aquarium and whatnot. I literally have to drag my 3-year-old out of there before we leave each time we visit lol

Very cool! We used to take Jess to the zoo in Sanford and I feel like we could spend an hour and see everything. We were really pleasantly surprised with the Brevard Zoo.
You need to come back, though. You were here before THE BOY arrived (Okapi)

Thank you 4 sharing…I’m a huge animal nut and I’m planning 2 travel the 50 states…My goal is all the zoos and this is on my list but u guys r helping me decide 2 do this or skip since tiny…What do u think? Skippable or do?
