I'm sorry guys I love you but I have to give you some constructive criticism. The chest clips on the kiddos car seat are way to low. If you were to get in a car accident the chest clip would bare down and internal intestines would come out. All three carseat straps are very lose that's not going to them in. And yes I have another one 😕 NO jackets! That's another danger. I love you guys and I just want you all to be safe.
Wow..! The voiceover of Phil at the beginning was awesome..! Great Intro which gives the viewers so much hope and inspiration..!! Great work Phil and Alex.. Good background music too… Great Great Great Intro..!! 😂🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
My Dad still remembers the day their Dad pulled them out of school the day their first tractor came to the farm in 1953. They were all so excited. Prior to that they traded farm labor for the use of their neighbors team of horses to plow their fields. They had a small herd of dairy cows (20 head), chickens and a pig or two. He was just talking about it the other day.
I love Callie Joe’s new smile! When my husband bought our tractor I said it was a midlife crisis💁♀️. I was so wrong, it has made are life so much better. You have so many blessings, go let you love multiple 🥰
I live in a 7th floor apartment but last year I started a garden on the balcony and it worked. This year I'm pushing myself more and will be planting some stuff i haven't planted before
Daddy days can bring such sweet memories, not only for daddy, but for the kiddos too 💕👏🏼💕
So sweet of you to give your wife a day off!😊 Everyone needs a mental break to focus on them!😊
I just love your family!! You guys are one of the few youtube families that have stayed grounded and true to your values and beliefs! Congrats on the "new to you" tractor!!

I'm so proud of you both!! That tractor will be a HUGE help for y'all!! I'm so glad, that you were able to one... How exciting!!
Your channel is such a soothing voice of sanity and reason in this topsy Turvey world. Thank you for sharing your sensible, “ normal” world with all of us. To see a loving, healthy, decent family living life as it should be lived is perfect!👍👍💖💖👏🏻👏🏻🙏🙏
I love all the animals!!! Buttercup❤
Finally! If this is referring to a tractor, it has been so needed. We got ours for our Sumner County, TN home on 42 acres. It was bought at zero percent interest.
There will be maintenance and repairs along the way, but you will get so much use out of it just like we have!
You should look for a used hay ring, to protect the hay from being smashed down and walked on by the animals.
Guys!!!! Congratulations!!! That was a great purchase. The farm is looking great! Those are the prettiest Cow and baby bull ever!!! And so sweet.
My husband bush hogs our field on a 51 Ford 8n. Still runs beautifully with regular maintenance
Congratulations!!!! I have so enjoyed watching your journey and learning from you all. Your videos have Blessed my Life thank you.
All of your kids are perfect and so beautiful. I was just noticing how much Kinsley has grown up!!! So FAST such a beautiful young lady. You guys are SOOO BLESSED!!! ☮️❤️🌟🙏🌈
We had an Allis 200 and D17 that worked years and years. The 200 even went through a fire and the nephew who bought it years later trained to work on tractors brought it back and now uses it in tractor pulls
🎉Congratulations on Your New tractor 🚜 Alex & Phil... It will come on very handy 👍😁 I can't believe how tall Kinsley has grown this Winter... Hugs & Blessings to you all... 🙏❤️💙💖💖💖🐕🤗✝️
Congrats on the tractor. They are the best investment ever.

So filled with love. I enjoy watching you guys. 🎉
Love hearing Daddy’s inspirations. Miss the little sermons. So many need encouragement. 😄
Alex you are so right with the world feels 🙈. Better stuff you can use than nothing.
I’m so happy for y’all
I love that you gave her a day off. Just very enlightening to the way the world is in how Alex said she feels bad that Phillip will have all the kids to himself. But he is their dad. Us moms need to not feel bad when Dad has to have the kids. Mom's take less time to themselves that would help everyone feel better just because we tend to be guilty or shamed into feeling bad for leaving them with anyone else even their own dad. Mom's enjoy time to care for yourselves. Dad's enjoy time with your kids without mom there.

Appalachias Homestead, Patara is a fantastic homestead, you tuber. She suggests you invest your money in things you will need in the future instead of leaving your money in the bank. If you don't hold it, you don't own it. Lots of love xxxxxx
Having a tractor will make your life so much easier! Your back will thank you and you’ll see that projects go so much faster! We have a kabota too and they are so awesome!

@@PhilandAlex yay!! I move to Nash next month too. Starting a farm and wanting to buy land! If you ever do a local meet up I’ll be there!! Cannot wait for the video next week!!
You can wash the eggs then sell them! I laughed when you said they’re dirty we can’t sell them. A bucket of warm water and a brush gets them clean real quick.
You guys are awesome. I love your family.
farmer phil the movie coming soon right?!?!?!? Love watching the homestead grow!
I have missed your channel for some time!🙏❤️ I was so happy to find you guys 🙏❤️

Love you guys! 🎉
Aww how are ur girls so awesome and beautiful love you guys❤
I just love you guys!!! Each one of you is "my favorite"!! Great tractor choice!!!
You can freeze some of your eggs too. Once you have them frozen put them in a plastic freezer bag. Make sure you don’t freeze them in the shell
Oh the cow up to the camera is so cute!
Loved this!!!!
You guys are awesome I just love to see every one of your videos. Keep up the good work and God bless
I love you guys! You are such an inspiration to me! greetings from Greece!
Congratulations
Congratulation for your tractor ! 🙂
You two work hard, as ,I was able to see in all of the videos you put together❤😊
I learned the same thing. I bought a house in a small town that had about half an acre. After I got sunstroke using my gas mower, I bought a used lawn tractor. Sold it to my neighbour when I sold that house. In my new house, I have twice the property. So I bought a used John Deere lawn tractor that has a lot more features than my first one. I might sell it when I sell this house if the new owners want to buy it. But I want a bigger property for my next and final home. But I was good. Bought my first house with full financing. Put more than half down on my second house. Bought my 3rd one for cash and have doubled its value with all the expensive repairs like septic, roof and doors and windows. With the excessive prices of homes, I hope to be able to buy my next one for cash. I am not sure.
Loved this video. Excited to see how much the tractor helps.
So happy for you! A tractor really changes the game. I saw you cover your flower pot tower with a cover to protect from the cold. I need those to protect my bean towers! Where can I get those? Blessings to your family and thank you for your content.
I love all of you bless u all
I love how you share everything as a family. I bet my father felt the same when he got his tractor for our farm but I can't remember him sharing his joy around this or any excitement of getting one. We too originally came from the city. I sell my chooks eggs and it certainly does help to pay for their food (the cat, my mouser, also likes an egg every day).

I don’t recall…do you guys own a freeze dryer? My friend loves hers. Not cheap but another great investment.
In TN be sure to leave at least a 5-6 in gap between your house and mulch line . Google please ! I sure hated getting advice to late …

I love you all and I think you’re amazing parents. I know how much you absolutely love and adore you’re children, I am concerned about your car seat use though. The girls are never buckled appropriately when you show them in the car. I know that keeping them safe is your number one priority as a CPST it’s difficult for me to watch them in the car because I know what could happen.
I learned to drive at 12 on our tractor. Old Massey Ferguson that is still running. It's way older than me at 40.
Make lots of. Noodles egg noodles. Yummy and freeze them in zip lock bags what a real joy to make. ... all kinds of noodles chicken soup. ... beef and noodles. Spaghetti ... with egg noodles. ... pasta. ... what a wonder thing. .....soooo luckly. !!! Alex. ....
Very much so a huge (?) I don't like what is going on right now I always agree with you Alex
Can't believe it's 3 years already. It feels like yesterday you started out this great adventure. I have so n'joyed watching your progress and feeling your joy. The girls are growing like weeds and such a reflection of your time and love invested in them. I rarely ask for prayers for myself but could do with your prayers at the moment. I am suffering an acute back problem and have just been told I can't have surgery because my heart is too weak to cope with the anaesthetic. So I will have to continue with my quality of life being badly affected by the pain and my favourite hobby my garden will have to be done by someone else for me. Of course I will take pleasure from the garden but I will miss the joy the hands in soil gave. Please continue to keep us in your lives and share your experiences with us it is so exciting. P.S. Have the girls given the new tractor a name ?! Janice 👵 🇬🇧 xxx
If you want Ethel to farrow in the chicken coop, you need to put some wood bumper bars all around the edges, or she'll smother them. Also, block off a corner where Ethel can't get to, and put a heat light up in that corner and cordon it off with a 2x4, big enough for a litter in a triangular fashion(corner to corner). Piglets #1 that kills is the cold, and a close 2nd is mom laying on them. I'd hate for you or the girls coming to find that. It just can happen so easily. I can't wait to see those piglets! The girls will be ecstatic, well, actually, every one of you will. I know how excited you get when new babes are on the farm. I raise meat rabbits, jumbo cortunix quail, and have my garden (I now live in town, so I'm limited). I call myself an urban homesteader now. lol. It's the best I can at present.
If you want to sell the the unwashed eggs, many folks would buy. I do all the time. If you want to persevere the eggs, it's best to use unwashed eggs.
🙏🏼👍🙏🏼 IF you can find a gas tank to put on your property that you can fill with diesel fuel(or fuel of choice) that would be a huge blessing/bonus as well to use in your diffrent equipment.

One larger than 5 gallons!?
@donnac.3268
Жыл бұрын
Yes much bigger made to store and fill your diffrent machinery perhaps having a few months to a years worth like 50, 100, 500 gallon size..lots of working farms have them. Ya don't want to drive the tractor to town to fill the gas tank. Also would be a heck of a good prep item for..the zombie apocalypse, that seams to becoming a reality IF things don't change with Brandon and world events. Perhaps you already have one tucked away on your property already...😉 im a suburbanite so I have to settle for a few 5 gallon cans in the garage to run a generator ( if needed ) and fill snowblower and lawn mower.
You are such a sweet hard working mama❤
Did your tractor come with any implements? And what other implements might you consider in the future?

The bucket, quick attach. I also bought a hay Spear in FB marketplace for $120. It’s been wonderful. My neighbors who both have kubota’s told me I could use their box blade and brush hog whenever I needed it! Love them
