Lesley did the best she could. She remained civil. I noticed the pause when she realized Google Maps had the same photo as you were getting with the drone.

Security too busy asleep and management not got the balls. Well done Leslie for at least going out!

I really felt sorry for Lesley, no way should she be sent out on to a public street to deal with a unknown member of the public (no offence DJ), you handled it brilliantly.

That feeling that someone absolutely must be doing something illegal, but you can't quite figure out what it is.

Bosses are nearly always too cowardly to confront the public themselves and, therefore, they invariably send their minions out to fight their battles.

I think she was worried that DJ would try and pick up a forklift truck with his drone and make off with it 😊

@@davidnelson3757 Not by DJ but against him. He was doing a legal activity in public and they approached him. They could walk away any time they want. By continuosly going and asking DJ not to do a lawful activity they are the ones that could be dealing with harassment charges.

Why send out a nice lady with zero understanding or in a management position to talk to the public ? Poor Lesley was sent to the slaughter!

Do you think when she goes on a plane to head off on a holiday... the pilot weaves about as to not fly over any houses, offices or buildings..... Are you equating a plane flying at over 30,000ft with a drone flying at under 400ft? Gifford v Dent and Kelsen v Imperial Tobacco both say the airspace is owned by the landowner. It's the law, Chunky. Do you agree with it?

If you are photographing a building for commercial gain you need a property release form and get permission from the owners of the building If this guy with the drone repeatedly flys his drone over a building , when asked not to it could be deemed as harassment , Also there are issues surrounding GDPR , where is the data stored , has any privacy been breached ? a legal minefield also low level airspace , ie what drones fly in is not the same as high level airspace different laws apply So his google explanation is not valid I don't think its been challenged yet in court with regards to drones , but the land owner, owns the low airspace , hence the landowner can stop a tower Crane swinging over their land , or charge for the privilege , or you can ask a neighbour to chop down an overhanging branch that is on your property flying a drone over property could be classed as trespass a civil matter if you caused an accident flying the drone the courts would want to know if you had permission to take off from a particular location , this is not as straightforward as you think . permission should always be sought A recent job I did I had no option but to use a drone , after I checked a suitable (legal ) location to take off from , I had to send google maps screen grabs , to lawyers before images were published , flying a drone to antagonise low level employees , gives drone users a bad name

It’s more sad that people seem to lack critical thinking and the thought of questioning what they believe are facts are not!

DJ I think you set a shining example of what proper auditing should look like, I say this because auditing has had a bit a negative stigma attached to it of late, and I'm a person that doesn't even agree with using the term "auditing" but understand it helps with social media viewing traffic and what not. The point I'd like to make though about it is that it's way more nuanced than just a black and white - Auditing BAD, never exploring a place of business GOOD! Sure there are some auditors with bad attitudes and they have no business doing it, but to say it's bad to be inquisitive about a company and what they do (even providing free advertising) is just wrong in my opinion. It's very interesting and reestablishes the actual understanding of legal boundaries.

funny how companies keep all sorts of crap in a warehouse but things that cost a bloody fortune they leave out side to rot and rust away

I found your videos on TikTok and I really enjoy them. The reason is that you're always polite, but you're also not like other auditors where it becomes some irritating power struggle with people and police. You explain what you're doing, you engage with people, you extend olive branches, but you also maintain your privacy when needed in a polite and non-aggressive way. Really enjoying the videos.

To (more or less) quote Dr. Who: 'In 800 years of traveling through space and time, I have never met anyone who wasn't important.' Lesley is far more important than the cowards in management who sent her out to deal with a member of the public in a public place do nothing wrong. Shame!

Amazed to hear that Google got authorisation from every single business, home, and individual that they fly over. I'm especially impressed that they managed to get permission from airports and prisons.

Lesley seems more civilised than most security guards….and her level of understanding was more than some SIA trained guards.

For somebody who made a point of stressing she was not anyone of importance Leslie. sure had a lot to say for herself . very unprofessional of the company to send Leslie off site to accost public photographers .

Yes it does , there are two levels of airspace , if a company wished to erect a tower crane that over hangs another companies property the owners of that property can decline , Air craft flying at 20,000 feet different laws apply , The company could site Civil trespass laws , but its hardly worth the effort and costs involved,
