the world series is the world championship, the absolute worst team in MLB is incomparably better than the best foreign team, and there is no debate as to that, therefore the MLB champion is the best team in the world. Baseball is not a global sport like football is, all of the best players in the world are in MLB, if anyone foreign was good enough, theyd be bought by an MLB team. However, more pride, more passion, you are completely correct. American fanbases in all pro sports are a pathetic, international embarassment, your average matchgoer knows little even about the sport and doesnt even really care. Being able to attend matches in the US is more of a status symbol and there is rarely any passion for the team involved.

@@Paul-eb4jp it was a block, but because of the forward movement from Kane they hit, with same right the ref could not have given a penalty. But I have to say if Holland deserved the win, they just had to score another time, you did it so you won I can live with that good luck in final.
