I would love to hear some feedback, what we can do better. I thought we cooked with this one 😥

Loved this formatting! Players still get to play what they like/are familiar with, even if people get butt hurt about Johnny or whoever else, while simultaneously forcing them to adapt at random to their opponents. It's a solid win-win-win all-around. - Matchup variety - Player familiarity (better gameplay with characters they know) - People's choice to make it fun NGL, yall cooked with this idea. Keep this tourney format in the Arena at ALL COSTS.

This is the most fun event I have watched in mk1 so far, never seen so much unique pics, Hodie Ermac was on crack and I loved the Shang mirror sm

What i like about this series in particular is seeing each players résumé of characters rather than who they main.

That was probably the most entertaining Scorpion gameplay I've ever seen. Amazing. Also poor JustNasty getting Smoke swiped.

I found it hilarious that the viewers spent so much time trying to get Justnasty onto Smoke (25%) instead of getting the other guy off Scorpion (75%) lol

People getting upset about JustNasty's cyrax setup is exactly what I was talking about at the end of Final Kombat. At the end of the day, the best players are going to find exploits because if any of the 8 billion people on earth were told that this exploit can win them a life changing amiung of money to pay bills, help family, etc, they're gonna do it lol Is it cheap? For sure, but as long as there are ways around it using skill, idrc ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Ok full analysis time. Match1: This starts with one of the themes of the day. Shang Tsung. Ravenleena doesnt get the mojo flowing and today Hodie is on fire taking this with the Shang in a dominant fashion. Match2: Kanimani vs Hazim. Hazim i will allow to get away with any character he can make them all look cool. Mega props to kani for picking only fan favorites this should be the spirit of such events. Unfortunately we have to let Hazim go after this but it was super fun to watch. And the T bags were a hilarity Match3: This was the give nasty his smoke crusade, i am convinced Rips rigged the wheel so that people will gift more subs trying to get the smoke XD. Reckless is a true prodigy playing one of the best scorpions ive seen using Motaro much like geras uses lao for mega burger combos. Eventually nasty lands the smoke and takes this after a series of multiple changes and many more laughs. Match4: Mari with the Shang is destroying various literarily even utilizing sub zero combos (thats one way to make sub zero have more damage :p) and we even get to see a Shang jax combo which looks dope. Great great stuff. Semi1: Nasty vs Mari. Mari lands the Shang again and once more completely annihilates the opponent...i mean at this point if there is anything resembling steroids for Esports Mari is having it. You wont get to see much better Shang gameplay. Semi2: Kani vs Hodie. A truly grueling match that came down to the wire. We get to see shang mirror, Ermac Shang matchups that we dont have like ever. Kani has a very strong anything as is well known by now so its expected of him to perform highly. Hodie has a monstrous output as well and this goes back and forth up to a match 7. Super great stuff. Finals: Kani v Mari. Shang mirror once more and we even get a Shang Tanya. I have never seen so much shang tsung in a mk1 event and i am super happy about that. Seems like many people have a pocket Shang, i hope nrs does buff him eventually. This is mostly Kani btw, a few dropped combos here and there and a couple misses but mostly kani is on point his neutral is perfect as always and the Mavado pick is underrated since it gives shang some much needed extensions and additional damage he desperately needs to close games more consistently. Overall this has been a blast of an event and i hope we get to see it again, or we get a variant where they do the same but for kameos this time. Maybe even character lock players from before and they get to pick amongst 4-5 kameos and spin? Dunno just dropping ideas.

Rips do you still stream at the same time. Was trying to wait for notification but with my eyes swole from a wasp sting I fell asleep. You usually go live at 12 pm or 1 for me

Maybe 5 subs for a re roll or even a nuzlocke situation where they both spin initially if you lose then you lose access to that character can help get even more variety and match ups

Smoke is a terrible character when u realize his cancels aren't secure enough and have too many gaps in his move sets. They should give him some projectile at least to help him control distance
