You mentioned you covered plugging/blocking off the air injection system in a prior video that you would link. I can't seem to find the link or the video. Mind sharing it here? I'm buying a Suzuki GSX-8R and plan to have you map my ECU with a new exhaust (TBD) & TST intake. Thanks.

Massive gains, from just intake and timing, a real grunt monster - great work 👍😎 Really looking forward to the exhaust mods.

Those are some nice gains. Looking forward to seeing where this goes. Would really like to see just a cat delete and slip on. That way we can get some more cheap gains. lol

That´s about 93hp at the crank by my math. See you later Hornet. A cam on this thing with a cat delete will get you to 100hp at the crank. Sounds like a fun tuning platform.

Great work & info greatly appreciated. Apart from the Akro full system, which others will you provide ecu flashing for if you don’t mind? Arrow? IXIL? I believe Yoshi will be releasing a system soon. It is unfortunate that with Suzukis wisdom they didn’t allow a slip-on arrangement without cutting the stock headers before the catalytic converter. I guess, if you’re spending any amount, that may well include a full system to factor in.

The GSX-8R ought to be a great R7 competitor

If I ever get a bike worth flashing 2WDW is definitely getting my ECU, hopefully a GSX-R 750! 😁

Excellent choice, great all around bike if you're young and still have good bones lol. I have a 01 and 05 currently with a couple other 600's and the 750 has always been a sweet spot. Still love and want another twin cylinder though!

@@bjn6203 Honestly I'm not as young as I was but the bones and joints are all still good, LOL! Honestly I've read the Gixxer 600 and 750 have the most comfortable ergos of any sport bike and the 750 is perfect balance of the 600's high RPM performance and liter bike torque just making it super fun.

@@Ryan_H22 Lol good! The 98 CBR 600 and 06 cbr1000 I owned/rode had the most comfortable "feel" for me riding but I like my corners so suzuki is second in comfort with seat and tank design of all Japanese sports bikes but it's the chassis that wins it for me. The Gsxr lineup of all ages is a perfect blend of everything like Honda but we know Suzuki's motors are low-key made to be tuned from factory so suzuki wins the speed charts over Honda and Yamaha who make circuit weapons over straight line speed demons.

@@bjn6203 I spend most of my riding time on back roads. Straight line speed is fun but gets a little boring to me. I rather toss my bike around a bit, LOL! But yea, getting to the point ergos become more important but no way am I after a cruiser, LOL. I was hoping Honda would bring the new 600RR to the US this year but oh well. I'm not in a tremendous hurry to upgrade but with spring in sight I'm starting to look more and more!

hi, i just got a 8s, and did remove the both snorkels and the filter foam in the air box. I didnt noticed much diff yet in the response/power but the intake sound is louder (nice tho). But my ECU is still stock. Will this setup be okay for daily and highway riding (150km/h above) ? btw im in Malaysia the weather here is hotter than europe/US. Need your opinion on this tq

first of all thanks for the tutorial, I wanted to ask you... when you insert the filter at minute 4:05 do you also have to put the air box back on without the side wings if I understand correctly? Thank you
