Honestly, Whataburger is my favorite burger joint. Those In and out people just dont understand that what they keep talking so highly of is just a generic version of Steak and Shake. Literally indescernable in flavor, looks, just in and out is much more stripped down menu wise. Once ya got a Whataburger right next to an in and out burger, the choice is obvious.

I live in Knoxville, Tennessee. I drove to Birmingham, AL just to eat a Whataburger one time. I had ate them before and was telling my friend how good Whataburger was. They were like well now you gotta take us to get one. So we drove 4 hours ate at Whataburger then drove home. It was a fun day. I miss those spontaneous road trips of the late teens early twenties. Then life, job, family keep you from being the free spirit you once were.

I am retired, 73 years old, yesterday I decided to go to Whataburger for lunch, I have not had a hamburger since about 3 years ago. I have been ill and I had to go to drop off a package, well, it so happen that a Whataburger was next door to where I went to drop the package . Although I could not eat all of the Whataburger I thoroughly enjoyed it, very much. I was very happy the rest of the day, sometimes the simplest things are what makes the world go round. thank you.

For all the non southern folk, I highly recommend whataburger. It's our pride and joy in texas and so damn good, easily one of the very few places I can never get tired of. My usual go to meals are the patty melt, no onions or the #2 with cheese, and swap mayo for mustard with toasted buns. The sweet tea is great, the shakes are great, love my whataburger.

In n out is much better , than Whataburger the cheese and onions melt in your mouth with so much flavor, it's delicious 😋 I highly recommend it, and the fries 🍟 you can request to have extra crispy, or whatever you prefer! And the habit is also amazing, and they have great salad's and burgers and string bean fries 🍟! And they put malt in the malt's they make!

Most people don’t realize that the burger on the menu is the basic version. You can get the buns toasted on both sides, grilled onions grilled jalapeños, any condiment, different cheeses. People need to step their game up at whataburger. That burger he had with grilled onions makes a difference

Next time try a green chili double, that's the best burger ever! For me anyways.

The Monterrey Melt is the way to go, I love Whataburger, and that burger is the best.

They're opening some Whattaburgers in Spartanburg, SC. One is near where I do my shopping. I'll wait until the month after it opens, wait out the rush. Then I'll get a burger and fries there, decide for myself. Side note: the best place for fried chicken is at Publix, in this part of the country. Fast food situational awareness.

*"The In-and-out" of Texas.* Give me a break, here in Texas, its simply *Whataburger!* . We love this here Texas. Trust me, my love for whataburger caused me to gain 10 pounds in 8 months. Now I am struggling to loose it. Lol Gotta get back to exercising!

I live in Oklahoma, and we have a Whataburger and Not gonna lie their food is amazing! Like their chicken bites, their burgers, and their French fries are delicious.

I am don't know what Whataburger is like for people who are not native Texans. I don't mean to be rude, but I don't care. I love Whataburger. I used to tease my mother that she was a born again Texan as she lived here for ninety years. Her favorite was the chicken strips basket with the default gravy for dipping. Whataburger is my comfort food.

i live in texas, in our city, we have both in-n-out and whataburger! we are blessed to be on the "fattest cities in America list"! like you NAME the restaurant and we have it! Fatburger, we got it! burger fi, we got it! smashburger, we got it! culver's, we got it! five guys, heck yea, we got it! carls'jr, we got it!

Native Texan here. I’ve ben all over Cali and the Southwest. We have had In&out for a decade in Dallas. It’s better than most others but nobody messes with whatabueger.

Hey Whataburger, come to California! There’s always room for another good hamburger.

Pro tip: ask for grilled jalapenos on your whataburger burger

I tried a whataburger in Tennessee and i fell in love with it, way better than in & out

I love Whataburger. It's my favorite burger place along with Burger King, Rally's, Sonic and Dairy Queen. I love Whataburger.

My grandpa ate at the first Whataburger. It is the pride and joy of Texas. If you’re not from here, you would not understand.

It’s all where your from, my high school teacher from California said In and out is the best, but scratch all that WHATABURGER IS THE BEST FAST FOOD RESTAURANT IN THE STATES, Patty Melt, Chophouse Cheddar, Sweet and Spicy, Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit, and a classic double meat with bacon

I never get tired of saying Whataburger... Whataburger.

If you're in NM you should get your Whataburger with green chile peppers on it. That will make it spicy.

Not to be biased because I am a Texan, but Whataburger is my favorite of all time. Wayyy better than Inn and Out.

I laughed my ass when I tried IN AND OUT, I was shocked how simple and over rated it was.

Bro I get a triple meat whataburger with extra creamy pepper sauce so good I named my dog after it it’s the best fast food in Texas honestly

Pro tip: Add mayo, mustard, grilled onions and grilled jalapeños, add bacon double with cheese and ask them to cut it in half for you...🤤🤤🤤😉

The regular Whataburger burgers are good, but where Whataburger really shines is with their specialty burgers like the Patty Melt, A-1 Thick n' Hearty, Sweet and Spicy Bacon Burger, Mushroom Swiss burger, Pico de Gallo burger, etc.

In an out is also in Texas although good it's kinda just a spectacle I'd rather have whataburger most of the time but as a resident Texan I eat whataburger anywhere between 1 to 5 times a week so in n outs only when I'm a lil tuckered out

this video has more quality then another insider’s. maybe the narration? that guy can be a narrator.

Me and parents go to Whataburger at the beginning of every road trip. We usually leave SUPER early and getting Whataburger at 3AM, HITS, DIFFERENT.

Pro tip: The further away you are from Corpus Christi, the lower the quality of your food at Whataburger. Second tip: if the location has a extremely long line, go to a different location. They’re going to rush the food and not cook it well enough. Third tip: if you have a complaint, contact the number on your ticket. The company is big on keeping up with quality.

Im almost positive there is one in Pine Bluff. I went there a couple years back and there was one there. It might have closed, but it could still be there.

Haven’t been able to go there often. Oklahoma City, Houston and Victoria (I think) but pleased at each one. On my list when I get to be in proximity to one, again.

I love Whataburger but I love my homemade burgers hands down every time

I've had In-N-Out plenty of times but I've been wanting to try Whataburger for soooo long!! 🍔🍟 It looks so good tho

Dobg disrespect In-N-Out by comparing it to whataburger. The comparison to the whopper is 100% accurate. Looks like frozen processed crap. In-N-Out uses FRESH ingredients. Your tastes buds are all screwed up from all the garbage you eat.

Best add on to a whataburger with cheese is green chile it is awesome.

I’m so glad to live in the city that the first whataburger was made in there’s one always around the corner now

In and out doesnt compare at all. Whataburger is the best

It brings almost tears of joy to my eyes when I see my fellow Texans talk about Whataburger and HEB and nobody else has a clue what we are talking about. P.S. In N Out is trash because there fries are atrocious. If you like them, good for you, but I just can’t. Also, I hope that Chicago does not ruin Whataburger and expand across the nation when it being restricted to our area gives it charm.

Im from Rockport fulton tx and i so miss whataburger! The original whataburger was a malt shop that started selling burgers. I've been to the first one many times in corpus.. But the one in rockport by the school was the one i grew up going to.. Lol i lived in Nebraska for years closest WB was in Wichita Kansas. I drove three hours one way to eat there back in 2000. Lol

I had in and out for the first time (in New Braunfels, TX). And I say you can't compare the two chains. Completely different. In and Out seems to the point and focuses on simplicity. Whataburger on the other hand gives you so many options it is crazy. Just look at the app and order a burger. That being said, the basic whataburger with fries and a shake is better than the meal I had at in and out. But like I said before, they are totally different styles.
