One of the reasons why your bob kept dying is because he was in the ult with the enemy who can kill them. Treat it like the barrier it is, if the enemy gets trapped inside the ult, make Bob stop outside. Bob will then shoot into the ult while everyone inside are just sitting ducks. Same goes the opposite way, place Bob in an empty mauga ult to give him a free 1.5k health shield

problem is that there always was a mauga that also used the ultimate, probably good in a non mirror match tho, maybe...

I was playing no limits and my team pulled off a wicked team kill. Mauga used cage fight on the entire enemy team, sigma fluxed them then dva bombed them. It was total overkill, but it was fun.

doom’s ult isn’t bugged, it just sucks unless you’re lucky lol great for every reason EXCEPT for the damage. overhealth, the slow effect, stalling an objective (especially the payload), disengaging safely, getting a free empowered punch, etc.

Honestly it's a good ult. By just having it, you can afford to be more aggro. Wish they gave him unstoppability for like 2 secs after he lands though.

In my 7 hours of playing him, bob was the most consistent completely free team fight. Just follow the path bob makes with overrun and cardiac him and now bob alone is generating 87.36 effective hp/s on his own on top of him taking the pressure off of mauga.

The deeper I think into it, the sicker this combo become. Not only u can make the bob self heal and have a 30%damage reducing, ash's molotov can also activate more mauga headshot. The most important thing is, their hair are both white, they can raise a whitehead gang, life weaver is welcome to join too.

Imagine Moira orbs didn't go through shields. The orb could bounce around in Mauga's ult for days. So much value.

@@imperialdra-mon5907 I know it has a fixed amount of damage, I'm just saying that the enemies will have nowhere to run from the orb, and that it will be damaging enemies until it disappears. Usually when I fire an orb at the other team, it passes through them, dealing damage, and then doesn't do anything else. If it was able to ricochet off of the inside of Mauga's ult, it would get value until the end of its lifespan.

One thing about echo mauga combo. You could theoretically put them both together in a vinn diagram formation so that enemies are only trapped inside a small sliver of space and theoretically you can also keep eachother safe if youre on the outsides of the vinn diagram.

I’d say the best pairings are hanzo, cass, genji since those ults need to be combo’s anyway and Junkrat because it’s harder to kill tore

Dva is also a very funny counter to an enemy maugas ult "I'm not trapped with you, you're trapped here with me"

I find the idea of an enemy Dva dropping a nuke inside a cage fight absolutely hilarious 😂. The Mauga is then hit with the biggest 50/50 decision possible. Let the cage fight continue doing your best to take out dva with you to your inevitable perishing (unless supports pull out their usual vudu) or drop the cage and try and run hoping your teammates weren't expecting you to stand in the death zone of mech Hiroshima for their entertainment to just be eviscerated 😅.

I feel like Mauga's ult and Ramattra's ult would be REALLY good together. If we still had 2 tanks 6v6....

a normal genji blade could be a great combo too if you have a decent genji. You could just weave in and out of the shield and it’s basically free hits as long as there’s no Kiriko or bap in the trap. Way better options though obviously

Torb Mauga was my favorite to do by far

the best combo for mauga is junk rat, ana, soldier, and LW, since mauga's ult is basically a cage, no one can move aside from those that can nullify it or a weaver from outside, junk just ult inside mauga's cage, soldier would pick the escaped squishy, ana buffs mauga and weaver heals him

Assuming the Footage actually showed when you tried to squash the Lucio with the Doom at that point, no wonder it didnt work, that Lucio had Soundbarrier up.

I hope that blizzard does this with every new hero, they release them for a weekend a month early to get some good data, and make the necessary changes once they release, that way they can purely focus on the hero changes, and so the hero is more balanced when they actually release so people don’t complain about the hero being op or underpowered, that way once the hero does come out in a more balanced state, they can take the feedback and fix them quickly enough before the hero comes out in competitive if there are any last minute changes that need to be addressed

Got a NASTY 4K as Dva inside a mauga ult. Our Mauga caught all of a mostly squishy team in the middle of the street right after the final curve of New Queen Street on push. Tossed my ult in from just around the corner and got most of em, our Mauga cleaned up the enemy Mauga after that. As a Dva main, a Mauga ult with NO cover inside and a Dva bomb thrown in should be against geneva convention laws. Its the equivalent of throwing a primed grenade into a bucket of fish. 11/5

To get the role lock experience next time something like this comes up, you can play whatever tank you want on your side and have someone else go Echo to copy the Mauga since he would be on the enemy team 95% of the time. Then you could have combo'd tank ults in a traditional role lock play. Also, Doom and buggy/trash tech. Name a better duo.

I want to know why bob cant walk into the enemy Mauga ult. People can walk through the barrier. Bob counts as a person on objectives, but is counted as a turret for Mauga ult.

Ult combo idea: Trap an enemy or team between 2 intersecting Mauga ults. So they can barely move and cannot damage anyone. Call it "Lockdown." Also if Mauga crits enemys on fire, can he get crit damage from another Mauga's or Ash's fire damage?

I think tracers would do better than you would think bc most of them will group up around a corner so if you can stick one then the rest are dead
