It really should... It's purposeful hiding of damage, essentially taking away someones ability to make an informed purchase via photos. That is not right at all and should be against TOS at the very least, and the law at best. It's not a good look for Copart.

Surprisingly the auction didn't end up accepting it and it will be back up for bid on Monday crazy that they can make that much off of it when I used one with a clean title isn't much more then what they're trying to get

I was talking to a guy with a Trackhawk asking how he keeps out of trouble with it. He said some stuff about self control and then roasted all 4 out of the gas station parking lot. Nobody is going to wreck a Trackhawk "just a little."

I love the red interior! Most interiors today are bland, and usually only offered in dark gray or a light tan. I miss the days of red, blue, green, light gray, and silver interiors.

Always double check when buying from the Newburg NY Copart Auction. Newburg is known for having cars that have a lot of hidden damage like in this case.

That frame looks fine get a chain,your fav big oak tree strap'er down and smack it in reverse a few times worked for me every time

This, why I steer clear of newer salvage vehicles. No used parts to be found anywhere and the damage will always be severe to warrant it being a write off. 5 or 6 years old , you can do a quality repair with used parts and the damage won’t be anything like so severe for it to be in a salvage auction.

@@ForeverNeverwhere1 Yeah. There's a reason the insurance companies write these vehicles off. They are salvage - some more salvage than others. Most of this stuff is just junkyard buys, if even a junkyard is willing to gamble on them.

Cleetus you should ask Samcrac to help you out. He seems to have had good luck up till now on these salvage auction cars. And it might be some great collaboration content for both of your channels.

Yeah. Most of the 'Tube rebuilders are now getting into the high-dollar cars to try and prop up their viewership. Where it's going to end up is anybody's guess. Most of them are going to be back to re-roofing houses before long. There's only about 2 or 3 rebuilders that I'll even watch anymore. Quit watching that guy who tried to rebuild a totally burned up Hellcat. Watched him out of curiosity, but then he jumped ship on it and bought one that could actually be glued back together. Everyone but him knew he was in over his head from the beginning.

Depending on the price that it was selling for and what damage was done to it, that mercielago LP640 Was a gated 6 speed and 1 of 25 and easily sale for 500,000 plus, in less than perfect condition. Looked like a easy flip (on video).

I love how cleeter got hustled on the Corvette but with all the videos he's made on it he's probably made all his money back

Copart charges 5% fee so that would be roughly $2500. Sad to see so done paid $50k for that real dumpster fire.

I wish I knew you were going to be in Newburgh! I live like an hour away from there in Yonkers and would have loved to meet you... I definitely would have taken a day off work to hang, even if for 5 minutes because I know you're a busy guy... Well, hopefully next time you're in NY I can finally meet you...
