I know this vlog is almost a year old but I’m loving watching some of your older videos- before the world and life changed. When you could sit next to strangers and walk through crowded streets. I’ve not travelled anywhere for a year and a half and didn’t leave my hometown at all in 2020. I cannot wait to be able to holiday again and feel the excitement of heading to the airport and exploring new places and cuisine. It really is such an incredible country!

Pls dont go to every food shops in fort(Specially near station) pls google and see there are many recomended places whr u can have good and hygenic local food. As a local we dont even eat from those area as u shown. Its greate job what u have done to promote our country but thats the reality. We need to keep Coming people like u to Sri Lanka but with true and right guidlines. Thanks be healthey and happy😍😍😍😍 love u everyone

This is not floating marcket. Next to bus stand on the Bere lake you can see floating marcket. This is pettah market.pettah is the most crowded ,noise and dirtiest area in Colombo.

I'm glad that some people can see through the assumptions of Sri Lanka and appreciate the little things that make the country stand out in its own unique way. Thank you for visiting my country~💜

Have you guys been to eat street northshore ? In Brisbane qld ? It’s amazing probably my favourite eat street markets they have nearly every food you can think of it’s really lovely set up to I recommend going Sunday lunch when it opens

TIP# every sri lankan food venders are not good, ask the locals( if they’d understand you ) they’ll say what’s the best, TIP# be aware of how much stuff are actually worth! Hi, thank you for being here in our country. We Srilankan have grocery shops as well like Arpico, Cargils, Keels, etc. But most of peoples prefer to buy fruits and vegetables from outdoor markets because those items are cheap compare to grocery shops. And also they are fresh.

Some people called Tapioka as Cassava in South Pacific...it's long yam grow underground..very popular in South Pacific islands...steamed or boiled tapioka yam goes with grated coconut, chillie paste and meat or fish curry. hmmm yammiiii ..
