Welcome to Combat Culture's first ever vlog! You may have seen our interviews and tips videos from this trip, but we wanted to share with you all a more personal recollection of our experience. One year late, but better late than never? 😅

I love this travel/training video format. It felt like I was watching a travel show. More of this, please! It made me even more excited to train in Thailand in a couple months. Thanks, guys!

Wondering if a review on the RDX f6 kara glove could be made. There are thousands of reviews, praising them, on amazon from beginners, like myself, but it would help many to see a review from a person more experienced to the sports and have worn many gloves from all price ranges before, as there seems to be so little out there on this one. Thank you 🙂

If an absolute beginner went to a camp for two months, would he or she learn enough to defend him/her self in a fight?

It WILL help but Muay Thai takes a while to use in a real fight 2 years i think. The clinch elbows and knees can be used soon .The kicks take timing and balance as well as i.q to use them in real scenario. Many thai boxers hands aren't the greatest.

Two months should be fine for a self-defence if you spend a full day training. Focus on avoiding aggressive punch with a counter knee or elbow should be sufficient. Kicking should not be a focus since it's not an ideal weapon to be used in a street fight, knee, elbow and punch are .

Muay Thai isn't something you train. You train yourself. Muay Thai is something you practice, not train. Training Muay Thai would imply that Muay is a student and you're the coach teaching him a lesson when it's the other way around. People dont train boxing or karate, they practice it.
