Just FYI, they're not tornadoes, they're Whirlwinds aka Dust Devils, and they are only dangerous if a strong storm system moves over them and connects to it. They dissappear pretty quickly because they end up pulling cooler air into them and it causes it to dissipate.

Is that toilet designed by Jiffy Pop? I half expected to see pop corn appear.

This is the first time I've genuinely considered getting a van like that. For me, it's ideal for quick getaways more frequently. I love camping but as I get older (let's be real) I gotta sleep on an actual bed with a toilet nearby. Cool video. 💗💗

Go try out the Pro Master Rec Van. Absolutely love mine and it beats an RV all to heck. Super cool van 2 beds, shower and toilet. Big kitchen area. Decent amount of storage. Once I retire I have plans to travel.

Clementine is so beautiful and homey. This van is nice but so industrial and plain looking. I vote for lovely Clementine. She has heart and soul. Home!

Very nice TrueVan build indeed. You've probably already spend $200K +/- on Clementine. Though she has her own glorious style and feels so warm and homey. Deserts are tricky with the weather and snakes for sure. Enjoy!

I also have a Laveo dry flush in my box truck build. Love it!

Glad Madame is getting a "well RV" check up to ensure she's running smoothly. That 4x4 is rad (even the danger toilet) but Clementine has our hearts. Have fun in Joshua Tree! Such a cool area. Any plans to come north or are you sticking with Southern California?

Thanks for your feedback John & Cara! Yes, Eric & Allison picked such as amazing area just north of Joshua Tree National Park. Highly recommend going to Gold Crown OHV if your vehicle can handle rougher terrain!

clementine might not be as well-engineered as the TruVan but she has way more charm and character. The TruVan was pretty sterile looking.

We love how capable they are! We're so used to driving slowly and carefully, so it was really fun going off road in a vehicle meant for that 😁 Obviously Clementine is our little home on wheels, so we could never give her up, but it's always fun trying out other types of RVs/vans 🚐

This van reminds me of an office 😬 also looks smaller with the cupboards. Clementine wins! 😊

Love the wide open desert spaces!! Awesome Drone shots to capture the vastness as well!

Good film. I like the drop-down bed but otherwise I prefer Clementine as she feels more open & spacious (and charming).

I feel like you have a ton more places to scratch off the map since I last saw it. Love the desert… agree that nothing beats desert night sky watching.

One thing you can count on in the desert is awning destroying winds and dust devils.

Highly recommend renting a campervan traveling to Joshua Tree National Park & San Diego. So much to explore in sunny Southern California!

We call those dusty tornadoes Dirt Devils. I use to live in Joshua Tree, Yucca Valley, and Palm Springs.

Joshua Tree is good for stargazing, but Death Valley and Anza-Borrego are both better - strongly recommended if you can work them into your itinerary. Nice to see you in my backyard, and thanks for the great content!

The "fire caterpillar across the sky" was a Starlink trail. When SpaceX launches Starlink communication s satellites, they launch them in batches of 50 to 80. They line up across the sky as they gradually spread apart into their final orbits. They are so very cool to watch!

It's very well engineered, but they may want to reconsider the price. It's out of reach for most people. I could get a three bedroom two bath house with a pool in Spain for that price.

Anyone else not especially impressed with this rig? To me, it looks like a utility van with stuff bolted in and about as homely looking as that can be. It may be bigger than C, but it certainly doesn't look it. Perhaps it's the camera angles. Perhaps it's just the stuff. $200,000? Nah, you're alright.

So where is the stove? Obviously there is one, and it looked like an induction stove, but it didn't appear to be visible anywhere. Do you have to store it and set it up and plug it in to use it?
