Stock suspension is incredible for drag racing and burnouts in these cars. Just get some KYB shocks and new springs, upgraded bushings and you're gold

There are plenty of people making videos of their nice cara and race days, but the filming is awful, they are way to serious etc. Cleetus is literally good videos, fun, and freedom in one. Cant beat that

I was thinking the same thing. The way it was pulling on the track wasn't just the loose, stock suspension. At the very least the alignment is really bad.

@@stevenjohnson1692 It definately didnt look right, I agree. Those vics have adjustable camber/caster. Not sure what caster should be for a track but definately more than 2 degrees on right I'd say. Its one of those variables. You could run the alignment for multiple setups and mark the adjustment plates for quick changes at the track but thats time consuming and annoying I would think.

They keep adding weight, power increase only works to a certain point vs adding weight as the tyres can only grip so much and he said he doesn't really want to go up un tyre size. Hell he has never even got close to that insane 1.1 60 foot again since well early on in chasing the 8 second mark coz of all the shit they had to add to keep within regulation. 6's i don't recon are physically possible with a manual let alone his drag cooeficcient compared to the 2jz that went 7.5 But he does need more seat time again for sure but it would also be expensive as fuck and his other videos are his bread and butter it seems, plus his only really good runs seem to be when the track is extra prepped. Remember 100 pounds of weight is roughly .1 of a second added or removed dunno how much power needs to be added to make up the difference though

Hoppy-TAS yes but considering the amount of HP they gained with this setup and the amount of boost they’re able to run on should balance out for the added weight. Besides they’re runnin their best mph’s ever now with Leroy if they could just get him to leave solid they’d be back in the 7’s no problem.

Wobbly suspension does not mix with drag racing. Stay safe out there, no need to risk a bad accident on sketchy suspension especially after picking up all that extra power.

I think it's time to hit up ADTR or your favorite distributor and set Neighbor up with some proper suspension upgrades.

Nabour needs his suspension beefed up. Chassis stiffened too, and dropped an inch and 100 lbs shaved. Also a hood for better aero. Also trim that tail off the rear bump, or round cap it or something so you don't mess up the tarmac when she squats on the line and lifts the front.

@@Dockhead still, if I had the car and the resources available, I'd prefer do that, as well as try to make it look more legit cop car racecar with a lightweight plexi and aluminum pseudo partition for the back seats, and close it up more with aluminum Door cards with shaved or hidden door latches. Because cop car. Also all the other mods, because a solid chassis makes a better handling chassis and a bit quicker response in the turns.

It s about time neighbour got some suspension love, 4,000+ lbs + 900hp it is amazing that the wheels haven't come off with those epic drifts that you do. Thinking of Ed the neighbour.

I love that rear tube bumper! I live at the end of an ice road and have a Vicky as a winter commuter - plans in the works for a selectable locker, 3" lift, and 33's, and had been wondering what swapping the covers front and rear with something like this would look like - turns out: Freakin' awesome.

I think it's time to swap to some coilovers, or at least refresh the springs and shocks. That thing is dangerously unstable, especially with that weight transfer during shifts.

I saw the left-rear pull forward/down on the drum; I'm thinking at Least some Poly Bushings and a set of Track bars. at the track i was starting to wonder if the driveline was straight because the whole body seemed to be at an angle.

I think I had this problem once too, I was running so little timing that the car wouldnt run properly. Found out that it needed like 5 more degrees at spool, the transition from off boost to on made it go all nuts. There's a learning curve to this stuff for sure.

That’s awesome that you got it figured out. Neighbor has never sounded right to me since you got the new engine. The last one sounded angry climbing through the revs. This game needs has sounded tame.
