1st case: he is a real gentleman & was very generous with this young lady that crossed her limit.

She could have had the decency to have texted him and ASKED if she could drink the wine BEFORE doing so. Even when I was her age (I'm 60 now). I would have been cautious around SOME ONE ELSE'S PLACE.

The wine case: She incriminated herself so many times 😂😂😂.She talks so much. Girl, SHUT UP! The entitlement was too real.

Don't tell people to make yourself at home because everybody means something different by that

She is just slow, how did she think that it was real when the site says 100% vegan 🤨

Let’s look at it this way. It’s a stretch and likely won’t work but…leather is from cows. Cows are vegan (I’m sure however, unknowingly when munching on grass cows eat a bug or two). It could be [weakly]argued that the leather from a vegan cow is vegan leather.

If the wine is so precious to him, why doesn't he have it locked away when he is not at home, so its secure? If he hires her to housesit for him and he says "Make yourself at home", to me, that would indicate help yourself to the stuff in the kitchen, watch television, etc. He never said "Make yourself at home, but please don't raid my wine cellar. Or if you want wine, this is what you can have. None of that was ever articulated to her. He simply said "make yourself at home." and then got mad when she did just that and drank his $2000 dollar bottle of wine. And the fact that this is the third or fourth time that he has hired this girl shows that he believes her to be trustworthy and responsible being left alone in his home. Had their been a problem before this, he wouldn't have hired her again.

I thought the defendant was older than 21. She actually looks more like 30 . In my opinion.😮😮

This is the second time I disagree with this Judge. Just because someone has a wine cellar doesn't mean they are a collector. Plus he never said that the wine cellar was off limits or even explain and showed her about his expense wine. i think this judgement was wrong and maybe both are at fault and she should only pay half the cost of the wine.

imo that man is a jerk. If he can afford to eat caviar and a $2,000 drink, I’m sure he can let her off with a scolding or something. I understand she was disrespectful to his house, but she sincerely thought it was cheap wine (yes she’s a little bit simple for that, since his tastes seem to be luxury all around) but holding a young person and putting them in debt is kind of mean. Especially since he was so rude to her at the end, too. He’s a little bit unlikeable

Just because he has a lot of money, doesn't mean she can use something that has a lot of value to him. Let's say she was house sitting for Jeff Bezos & gets stains all over his couch or accidentally breaks something of value to him. Should Jeff let her get away with it because he's wealthy?
