Please note that if you want the best performance you should get the PAL versions of these games. They have a locked frame rate and therefore are a bit less intensive. Some of the slow games tested here run perfectly well when the PAL version is loaded up. Also by tweaking more emulator settings you can get the 405v to output much better performance than usual

I disagree, they all cater to different aesthetics and needs. The retroid pocket 3+ and 405v/405m models are for people who want sizable handhelds that can handle ps2 and GameCube - anything under these in price will not play them. The next level down plays up to n64 and Dreamcast, and the next level down plays up to psp and ps1. At varying price points and form factors it’s easy to single out what’s for you. For instance I want a vertical handheld that can play everything up to ps2 and GameCube - my only option there is this device (rg405v). If I wanted something that looks like a Nintendo switch but with the same capabilities I’d get a retroid 3+. If I wanted it to have a clamshell form factor I would get the retroid flip. If I didn’t need to play GameCube or PS2 and wanted something portable I can get both vertical and horizontal handhelds like the rg351p or the miyoo mini. You just have to single out what you prefer and then the options seem less intimidating

Be advised that games may/may not drop in fps later on in the game though!

I dont know why people do these tests only with games that the vast majority oif players aren't interested into playing... It would be great to see some tests with the most played games
