'We still have some way to go on inflation' - Bank of England governor
The Bank of England has held interest rates at 5.25% for the fifth time in a row.
The Bank's governor - Andrew Bailey - says the economy is still not at a stage where rate cuts can be made, but added that things are moving in the "right direction".
"We're not yet at the point where we can cut interest rates, but things are moving in the right direction," he added.

No. Gold and silver are a global commodity, the ongoing events in the U.K. have very little bearing on their prices
Can he reassure us they'll be no more barriers to converting £'s into crypto? For those of us who believe the £ is very risky, are forced to accept it as payment and believe it's likely going to zero in the not so distant future we need easy to access off ramps, in recent times there has been considerable obstruction to getting out of the pound and it looks suspiciously like the BOE and other bungling entities want us to hold the bag as it becomes more obvious to the masses its losing value at an ever increasing and alarming rate
No matter what, Tories are finished!
