I love all the places to where you travel, but these quirky trust properties are my absolute favorite. The cottage in Devon was the first video I ever saw and I have been hooked since! This place is so serene. And what a nice time of year to visit and see the bluebells!

What a magical place! A secret cottage in the woods surrounded by thousands of bluebell’s and starlit nights. Snuggling up to the fireplace, mesmerized by the light, daydreaming. Taking all of us along. You are such an amazing couple. God bless

I am currently recovering from major surgery and as such, temporarily house bound. Thank goodness I discovered your channel! You have taken me on countless, wonderful adventures both in the UK and Germany, shown me delightful home interior design and don't get me started on the cakes, wow! Life is chaotic here in uk unfortunately as well, not much green spaces left as too many houses being built, would love to build a tiny house no land here at realistic prices

@@kimharrop3725 Yes, and I'm sure a lot of stressed-out Brits would like to pretend they're in the calm and lovely New England countryside when things get too chaotic for them. I'm afraid the chaos and stress of life is indeed universal and timeless. Ancient Greek philosophers talked about how maddeningly crowded Athens was when its population was still under 25.000, and how they dreamed of a pastoral life on Delos.

Wow, have to say I really enjoyed your calm approach to filming this cute cottage. You come across as very respectful people. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧

This looks like a lovely retreat from the noisy complexities of everyday life. I find myself increasingly enchanted by scenes that take me away for a few minutes to a better, simpler world.

What an absolute cosy retreat🤩. 🤯Mind-blowing that even part of that historic structure survived all those centuries. Thanks for your excellent tour. What an inviting fireside🔥. A perfect spot to relax, read a book, & dine 🍽️. 😉That's what we'd call a 1-butt kitchen. Best for one person〰️or two ppl👫 who love each other & don't mind the close proximity. It's petite, but darling. Like the "U" configuration & that view 🪟. Kitchens are my favorite. This is a room I'd wanna putter in👩‍🍳. 🛏️ The guest rooms are lovely. It’s so funny you mentioning An Enchanted April …I’ve just finished reading it for a book club !

Great video. I would love to stay in a place like this. My house, in USA, was built as a Methodist church in 1831. So it is slightly quirky, too, which I love. Then in the early 1900s, the state bought it and it was used as a two room schoolhouse for some years. People with white hair still walk past my house and say to me "I went to school in your house".

This is such an adorable couple. Gushy Kirsten and quiet-but-supportive Joerg are so cute and charming and their videos so quintessentially England-before-the-1960s. I live in Hanoi and some of my friends in Vietnam and Thailand devour these videos too.

Everything looks so artificial and has no soul... I'm saying about this couple, about life of these people in general.... Artificial smiles, non-real life... Even the way they eat on camera... 📣The table in bedroom was a jewel of that not tiny but a small house because it's so cozy to being sitting around in a comfortable place with some antique dark furniture and a porcelain teapot with cups and plates and then the cup of hot tea ☕ would works like a best glass of wine 🍷 wonderful stuff 👍

The Blue Bells and Trees look like little Fairy's could have been living and flying around in there, Beautiful!!!

Das freut uns so, dass es dir gefällt!! Es ist auch wirklich so schön gelegen und drumherum gibt es so so viele Sehenswürdigkeiten, dass wir auf jeden Fall wieder in diese Gegend müssen, weil wir noch so viel auf der Liste haben. Lohnt sich sehr.

Great cottage! In the Middle Ages, a "solar" was a private room. To have a parlor and two solars meant that house was pretty posh.

Die Ruhe, das Vogelgezwitscher am Ende des Videos und die Glockenblumenpracht. Da kann man wirklich abschalten und entspannen. Vor allem diese lila Pracht ist etwas für das Auge. Bei uns im Schwarzwald blüht gerade überall der Klee im Wald, so dass der Boden weiß ist, das ist zwar auch schön, aber diese Farben waren einfach fantastisch.

Oh my goodness this is just pure charm, galore. It warms my heart to see that these treasured places exist. I even loved the sprinkling of daises in the grass. What a serene delight. Thank you Kristen and Jorge so much for making this video.
