This was an amazing place. Of course the star of the vlog was Jah - we laughed out loud when the camera gave us the first shot inside the igloo - he looked so comfortable. Many thanks Jordan and Jah - another great vlog.

I have stayed here a few times. Once in the safari room which was fun. There used to be a room with a HUGE copper kettle in it that you could bathe in. They also had a video game themed room in the past. I can tell you they used to rent out that "church" room. It was called the Bridal Suite. It was 2 floors and pretty pricey at the time. Another really cool thing is they used to have a restaurant. (they had Baked Alaska-it was the first and only time I have ever had it) and you had to go to the basement and take an underground tunnel to the restaurant. I haven't been there in about 30 years and a lot of it is still very much the same. They also didn't leave the plane open back then, so that if/when you did go in, it wasn't quite in the shape it is now. All in all a great tour. Also, just a side note, if you want to put tokens into all the things at The House on the Rock (which you should) I would say to have about 3-5 hours. ;-)

Great video! Another discovery. These videos are really fun! While you are up north, you should take the drive along the north shore of Lake Superior, starting in Duluth. It is one of the most beautiful drives in the U.S. Lots to see, great food and wildlife. You also go by Gooseberry Falls St. Park and Split Rock Lighthouse. Now is the perfect time to go.

Hey Jordan I enjoyed watching where you stayed it was really COOL😉 and those socks you were wearing really cool but Jah did it for me running around like a mad dog was great. That room was so different and the cost was amazingly low! I have heard The House on the Rock is amazing. You could have seen the northern lights for real last week in Wisconsin I think. They were in Michigan.

Cribbage is the name of that game in the lobby. Many woodworkers take a huge pride in creating lovely wooden Cribbage boads out of gorgeous wood! The plane was used in two 1978 Mercury car commercials with Farrah Fawcett. She autographed the fuselage but apparently they painted over it in 2010.

This was so cool!! So much better than I was expecting. Somehow, I bet the 'church' was definitely a themed suite - maybe the Honeymoon suite. Such a neat place - and reasonably priced too.

This was so cool and different. Love your room. Price was great too especially with a Jacuzzi. Fun vlog! Fun to see Jah relaxing...he is so relaxed and cute and then he got wired ....darling! 💖 love you both!

I worked in a Fantasuit hotel in Indiana years ago… they had an igloo room also. They also had a cinderella room with a horse and pumpkin shaped carriage….a western room with a teepee and covered wagon both with beds…space invaders room…gondola room…El Comeno (sp?) room… the list goes on. Now days its run down and ready for demolition😢

I am loving this place!! I always want to stay at hotels just like this. In Chattanooga you can stay in the box cars of the original Chattanooga Choo Choo. It thought it was cool, but my boyfriend hated it. Have you make my way to this place and will send a pic!! PS I am a 70"s baby and remember the board game downstairs. There was a smaller version that we always took on family road trips.

If you are ever in Milwaukee again, there is a really cool restaurant called the Safe House within about 30 yards of the bronze Fonz. It's a spy themed restaurant and you have to give a password to get in. Eventually they help you with the password. Awesome spy decor and they call their customers agents. Very cool place!

Cool room and hotel. Too bad about the light. The board is a cribbage board. It's a game that uses both cards and the board and is called cribbage. Its pretty old school.

Very romantic for you and Katie💕 Did you know that the lights were broken before you paid!? Another room would have been good!

No, I didnt know they were broken.. that happens often in theme rooms I've stayed in.. something won't work, you tell them, and they claim the person that stayed in it right before you broke it.. that way it seems like they had no time to fix it, but I tend to see it so much I believe that is generally a lie..

Ah! Didn't realize that. Cool videos btw. I'm from the area and get up there often. I met a guy up there many years back and he claimed to be "Don Quinn" and said he built the hotel., hence the name. Oh....if you ever get up to Titonka (Iowa), theres a cool silo house at the edge of town. Something to check out.
