👩🏻‍🍳 KARA'S FAMOUS ONE POT PEANUT BUTTER RAMEN RECIPE!
I'm usually a biiiig measuring cup kind of girl, but for some reason with this recipe, I don't measure anything and taste it along the way. The ingredients change every time. Have fun with it!!! 😋
This is for 2 servings (keep in mind i have no idea what i'm doing):
Ingredients:
Olive oil (or whatever you like)
4ish Garlic cloves
1ish inch fresh Ginger
2 of your favorite instant ramens
Salt
Pepper
Coconut aminos
Cayenne pepper
Peanut butter
Fresh Cilantro
Green onions
Toasted sesame seeds
Sriracha
1. Sauté the garlic and ginger with some olive oil
2. Add water (or veg broth!) and make the “sauce”
3. Add the seasoning package that comes with the ramen if you want, or make your own:
4. Add coconut aminos (Idk, maybe 1/3 cup?), salt, pepper, cayenne (if using soy sauce, you don't need as much or any salt!). You could also add the chopped green onions here to cook In the sauce
5. Stir in 1ish scoop of peanut butter
6. Add in noods and let it all cook together
7. Put in bowls and add fresh cilantro, green onion, sesame seeds, and sriracha!

Who are Kara and Nate?!
Watch our documentary here: • 100th COUNTRY DOCUMENTARY
Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married 2013 and were super “normal.” I was a teacher and Nate started a small business from the spare bedroom of our apartment. We discovered the world of “travel hacking” & became obsessed. So after 2 years of saving $35k and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016 for a “one year” trip around the world. Our goal was to see as many places as possible before we rean out of money and went home to normal life. We started this travel vlog to share our experiences with friends and family, but quickly fell in love with this lifestyle and did everything we could to keep going. 4 years later, we achieved our new goal of visiting 100 countries and all 7 continents. We had no plans to slow down, until 2020 forced us to ;) Which is when we bought a converted van to start exploring our own country for the first time. Van life was a major adjustment and so different than flying every week like we were used to, but we are incredibly thankful to be able to continue doing something we love every day. 😊🎥🌎

As an Austrian who skies since around 3 years old (I am 21 now) and just returned from a three day skiing trip in the Austrian Alps, I feel like I respect your accomplishments here a lot (two days ago I skied around 8500m in elevation as well for example and we already went pretty fast)! For the amount of days you guys skied, what you can already do is incredible!! You guys have to have insane fitness and talent/skill in order to do all of that and are a true inspiration! I do know the Vail/Beaver Creek resorts from the Ski World Cups taking place there. What I did not know is that the quality of chairlifts is so drastically different to what we have in Austria nowadays, especially regarding security measures and size (we have fairly new chairlifts that fit 8 people and gondolas that fit 10). I do envy the ability to ride the lifts without having to wear a FFP2 mask at all times though. Great job guys!! I am proud of you!

I learned to ski in my teens and skiied Lake Louise and Sunshine quite a lot with my friends, in a jean skirt (raised in an ultra conservative religion that forbid women from wearing pants) and have "fond" memories of getting to the bottom of the mountain with a stiff frozen skirt, then it thawing on the ski lift, rinse and repeat. I think you should both try that as a challenge next year. hahahaha

So, Kara, we shopped today, I was hangry and my husband, Ben, was too. I got some chicken thighs (boneless skinless) and chicken ramen since we are not vegan. I fried 3 thighs in olive oil in my "skillet", took them out, added 1/2 red onion, chopped, 1/2 yellow pepper, chopped, grated 4 little carrots and added that and 2 cloves garlic. Splashed in some low sodium soy sauce, added the ramen, 2 cups water and seasoning packet. Let simmer and put the cut up chicken back in, cut up sugar snap peas and added those, drizzled with sesame oil and put a big dollop of peanut butter in. To die for! Seriously. I love your recipe. I would have added ginger but I didn't want to buy a whole chunk of it so we did without. Thank you, thank you for this great recipe idea. Love your videos.

I've done skiing down blue slopes in my state..I have had fibromyalgia for 14 years along with 19+ extremely rare complex incurable and intractable chronic pain disorders and health problems that span over a dozen different fields and subspecialty fields of medicine that 550+ doctors, specialists, and actual scientists who are pioneers in their fields and all the top ranked (in the world) most famous hospitals all over the country that I've been to, including experimental testing at John-Hopkins and other places...I wasn't able to move my upper body for 5 days and was taking my oxycodone like none other as well as laying on heating pads for almost a week. And I have extremely strong legs from riding (jumping) since age 4. Now, at 31, I've been bedridden for 4 years. Got sick at 15 and it robbed me of my life.

@@kelseyk530 oh Hun, I was honestly thinking this was going to end positively 😔 it's horrific isn't it, wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy, and most people just don't understand it. I didn't when mine first started. I've had ME since my early teens, then after the birth of my first child at 25 things got bad again but worse than before, when I finished maternity leave and went back to retail management alot 12 hour days, my strength declined each week, I would phone in sick in tears explaining that I couldn't even lift my 1 yr old or have him touch me, I thought I was going mad! I was quite lucky to have a relatively quick diagnosis but it really feels like you have to mourn your old self and I never had a normal life before because of my ME I could never do everything my school mates did, I couldn't do all my lessons at school, couldn't cope with sixth form or college (I'm in the UK) was always exhausted and ill, but in a way sort of lucky I never knew normal life as I got older. I lost my job in the end, there was just nothing I could do there, so I went from being pretty independent to relying alot on my partner and having to claim benefits. I turned to crafting after my diagnosis I made jewellery and things which really helped to give me some self worth back, it's something I can do when I can and from my bed if needed. If you haven't already I highly suggest something like this, it helps to keep my mind busy, I can be in a real dark place if I think too much. If you need someone to talk to I'm awake alot lol. X

@@linzisutton8466 I honestly can't do anything. I applied to and was accepted to the dignified death programs in one of the European countries where it's legal and was supposed to go last summer. Something got messed up with Covid tests so I'm going to reschedule for this spring/summer. I'm done just laying and existing in pain and all my other health issues that have many problems within those problems. I live with my parents and my dad has been my primary caretaker and advocate and researcher of all my issues and he's in his early 70s, now almost mid 70s...so once he dies, my mom wouldn't have a clue how to medically help me and she's in her mid/late 60s. So once they both are gone, I'd be a mid 40s in a using home?! No way. And when my pain doc retires or dies as he's in his early 70s, there literally aren't any docs that will prescribe opioids in the US anymore, especially in the super high doses I need (as a doctor did a blood test that shows what meds I metabolize rapidly and most opioids and benzos which I've been on since age 14 for acute anxiety, panic attacks and PTSD). I got one doctor on my phone recording with both my parents at the appt with me and he said that I'd have to choose which of these legitimate diagnosed by their own specialists...I'd have to choose between meds for my horrific 13 years of insomnia, my Xanax for aforementioned conditions, and my high dose oxycodone for my 4 different super rare incurable and intractable pain disorders...fibromyalgia isnt even my worst pain disorders.

@@linzisutton8466 Me too. But for me, I don't have just one or two things wrong...I have 20 that are the most rare and complex problems that then each have their own breakdown of issues within the original issue. It robbed me of my life at 15 and being sick and travelling the country and my state to endless appointments and hospitalizations and emergency room visits and being a medical mystery guinea pig became my full-time job along with my father who spent his retirement taking me everywhere and researching. All hobbies and passions I can't do. So the physician assisted suicide program in Europe is my only way. Couldn't finish university due to my extremely rare debilitating excruciating eye pain or corneal neuralgia. Doctor and specialists have never met anyone as messed up as I am. I am the 1% medical mystery unicorn. And marijuana isn't legal everywhere here and it does nothing for my pain. If morphine doesn't work and is practically like saline, cannabis certainly won't.

Hey K&N you need to get yourselves some heat tape to wrap your water lines, then use the foam pipe insulation cut perfectly to fit, no gaps to insulate the water line. Heat tape should be used on the water tank, grey water tank, drain lines, etc. You should also insulate your water tanks after the heat tape is applied. You should also consider extra lithium storage batteries as heat tape uses electricity to gently warm whatever it is applied to. The heat tape plus insulation should give you guys trouble free winter operation.
