Does that mean 'god', as you strangely believe in, has nothing in store for Lyles and Bednarek? Has 'god' picked a favourite? And what will you say to 'god' if Lyles dominates him in both events? Will you be angry?

For Coleman it's more of a mental problem. He has shown in the past many times that he can maintain his speed well enough. Just needs to stay relaxed at the end of the race.

Tell us how running 400m distances will help a 100m runner? There is no known value in running that distance for a 100m time reduction, nor has there ever been any evidence of it. And why would you think Coleman and his coach don't already know what they're doing? I'm amazed at the proliferation of armchair experts, ready to tell world elite performers what they need to do to improve.

his PB is 9.76... i think its mostly nerves or just not being fit enough to race. He is pushing 30 and it will get harder to get in great shape and injuries play a part also. But he maybe need to get more strength and power to dig more in the end

Obviously, CC isn’t going into complete depth about his training, but working on relaxing through the second half isn’t gonna be enough of a game changer for him. I’m not saying he isn’t, but he definitely needs to place the emphasis on speed maintenance. He should be running 150s, 200s, 300s, and even 400s. Even at his peak before the suspension he used to fall apart waaaaaay too often in the last 25 meters. His inability to maintain his top end is just as bad or worse than Noah’s start. I’d love to see CC run some 400s. That endurance might push him to 9.71.
