This is why we stan. Prof is just such a lovely person who can't stand to see his friends put themselves down - and since that's Spice's favorite form of comedy (I feel it, it's one of mine too), these interactions are quite common. This whole table is amazing and I wish it wasn't parasocial to say I want to be friends with all of them. I love the accidental(?) ludo-narrative harmony of the nostalgia deck game have tons to do with time; two players with future sight (with the time-traveling magus arriving before the enchantment he's inspired by), Spice in a time loop of repeating the same turn of recurring the dead to recur the memories of magic to evoke glimpses of what's to come. Even Prof's vampires fitting the theme as immortal beings that never age, with Prof himself referring to his life total like his age as if a kind of Benjamin Button type.

I love this episode/idea. It honestly just inspired me to try to remember all of the cards I had in my first commander deck I built, Reya Dawnbringer. I had just gotten back into Magic around the Shards of Alara block when I discovered what commander was and Reya was my favorite legend from the past. Talk about nostalgia! Also it shows how differently I thought about deck building back then.

Freaking fantastic, Prof! Huge thanks for another great season of this wonderful show, and so happy to see Spice & Sam back for a finale. Each of yinz always have so much fun and the banter between you guys always puts a smile on my face. Thanks for continuing to be such amazing people in the mtg community! Love you guys!❤ Can't wait to see what new and exciting stuff season 3 brings forth. Would love to have more F&B, and other card games from time to time. Maybe even doing a quick stint into pokemon would be fun! I've never played, but I collected the cards growing up (and played the SHIT out of most of the games!) And as for mtg, I think having Gavin, Kibler, and Josh on for a game of Archenemy could be fun. But the question is, who gets to be the Archenemy?😂

An amazing season, every video really got across that feeling of a bunch of friends having fun. ❤ This video in particular made me very aware that my first deck was Thromok the Insatiable and it is very slow by todays standards. It took years to put together and was a collaboration between all of my MTG playing friends ideas and cards. It is a collection of treasured memories and I love it dearly for that.
