Once again I’m watching my grandkids working as a team. Y’all overcome obstacles as they come your way. It might be one step back but you are taking two steps forward. You will have a beautiful home with beautiful memories to go along with it. Look at the bright side, your goat ranchers now!! Love ya both, Old LB
An Alpine setting means lots of snow. Like living and herding goats way up in the Swiss Alps with Heidi. It's magical place full of life and wonder.
That was fun watching the little goats try the same thing as the big ones. You can tell they were not used to free roaming in the wild.
You both are such an inspiration. Your ingenuity knows no bounds. I loved Greg’s comment “I’m living in a fairytale”, I know exactly what he means. This is real entertainment and real life, not like the reality rubbish created by national TV companies and rammed down the throats of the masses. Keep it coming Katie & Greg, I look forward to each and every episode. Thank you.
Just too precious😍. What lucky animals to have found both of you
Greg dropping the tree in the bucket worked about as good as a windshield wiper on a ducks butt. But as always you two got the job done. You two really are an inspiration to everyone. Been with you all for a few yrs now and always am happy when you post. The goats are so adorable. And Katie i just noticed how long your hair is getting. As always stay safe and God bless from Missouri.
Omg how cute is that with Greg the goatherder and his ‘gang’ walking thru the forest!
The goat hike was awesome! But that railing took the cake! Thanks for sharing this experience.
Good idea that tent idea. Won’t hold a heavy snow load but it’ll work for what you need to get the decking finished
You guys work so hard, it's great to see you enjoying some downtime. Also warms my heart to see how much love and care you give your animals. Greg and Katie, you guys are awesome... my favorite off grid couple!
Warm tent to get the deck surface completed. Good idea, with no snow in the forecast (and weather forecasters who are correct more than they're wrong 🤔). Good luck - especially for the next 4 or 5 days.
So fun watching the goats.
Loved the new Goat's they are so sweet y'all are doing a Great job can't wait for the next video.Glad your getting close to getting your Siding on your Home.
It's official; you guys are goat herders.......with a few chickens on th side! cheers.
Good morning you guys hope you guys have a wonderful day keep up the good work and hope you get this project done as soon have a great day😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
The goats are adorable! They were meant to be with you guys!
I went "ohhhhhh no" when I saw the snow😅 You have accomplished sooo much this year. Don't forget the barn among all the other projects. The new goats are so stinkin cute. Love how they follow you around. Looking forward to the finishing of the deck....fingers crossed. Take care. You're a delightful couple.
"Come on, man." Just what you needed - snow. Fingers crossed. Wishing you guys the best. Very cute new family members. Thanks for the episode.
I really like what you’re doing. In fact I like it a lot. The new goats is a awesome addition too your homestead, lots of fun to be had with them. The cover over your deck is a great idea. I thought about that when I watched your last video. Maybe you might be able to use it over your sawmill afterwards so you can mill throughout the winter (just a idea). Keep on keeping on. Be safe
Good plan with the poly! You are cutting it close, but what’s life with not a little adventure!?😆😉🌲
You guys rock,I look forword to see which project you tackle every week plus I like all your goats, dogs and chickens.
aww love your new goat's are they ever cute love the markings on them and how they follow you for a walk .Tarpping your deck is a great idea so you can her done cant wait until you start the siding sounds exciting .
Congratulations on getting the new goats. I hope your deck project goes really well. Love watching your channel!
You need to make a couple 1 or 2 foot fork extensions that clamp on the bucket of that tractor. It would make things much easier for everything you do with the logs...
I am very happy about the increase in goats❤ I can't imagine the babies. Wonderful news👍👏
I have been watching you guys for a long time now . I like what you do allot . Katie , you have a great work ethic , what a physically fit body ! I can see why with everything that you accomplish at your place . Your husband is awesome as well . I finally got around to the subscribe . I was a union carpenter for 34 yrs , retired in 2011 . Keep going with your great projects Katie , God bless . Ed …
great teamwork as always!
Keep going guys! It'll look good with all the hard work!
Loving your show and look forward to it always. Just realized I’m almost 74 years old and I’ve seen snow but never seen a real snow shovel like any where but tv!
Watching from North Carolina! I’ve been following since you moved on the property and I look forward to seeing your progress with all the projects! Goats mean a lot of products milk, cheese, soap, yogurt and maybe a possible food source. I could watch lumber milling videos indefinitely! lol thanks for your content.
Keep up the good work doing a great job glad to see the new edition of the goats they're like having a pet😊
I watch just about every episode you make and you two and your goats and dogs always make the building videos more enjoyable and another great family I watch is Sleeperdude and his family working on old vehicles with their goats and dogs and cats that are also a great family to watch.
What a great ideal for the deck. Wishing you luck.
Love the goats good luck with the deck😊
What a great addition to the family. The goats are adorable. Love how they follow you ❤❤. Excellent video guy’s excellent. Love that sawmill
Suggestion: place some wooden beans from the roof to the brace railing you put up for the deck.. that way. if it snows.. its not sagging the plastic.
Love your determination to get things done, good luck guys! ✌🏼❤️🙏🏼
I loved Greg's ad for "quick and dirty railings for high end homes". He could always sideline as a standup comic.
In this toxic-world we are living in, you both are super-heroes. Please make more videos.

Exactly, they are two people doing all this work alone. It’s going to be beautiful once they finish. ❤
Good luck with the drying process.
The goats are so cute together!!! Love this video xx
Goats milk cheese and yoghurt soooooooo awesome...........
Oh my goats!!! I love it!!!! They make a great addition to the family for sure!!!
Sooooo close to 100k guys....keep it rolling!
nice work guys
My wife LOVES goats and mushrooms. I just forwarded this video to her saying "The first 7 minutes was MADE for you!" lol. Congratulations on the additions to the family. Fingers crossed the weather holds up so you can finish the deck!
The new goats 🐐 are adorable 🥰 and so friendly. Good luck 🤞 with your deck. You both are so hard working people 😊.
Goats are so cute. I think you’ll love having goat milk!! Great they all get along too!! You & Greg’s motto should be… where there’s a will… there’s a way! So impressive how you two roll with whatever’s thrown your way & just figure it out😎
The Goats look GREAT!!! Good Luck on finishing the deck!!
You two work so hard to make it work.
Hope for you the weather holds out for you 2. Thanks for the video
PLEASE make a shirt with Greg's quote about the custom railings, 'this is our flagship model, the quick and dirty'. STORY of our LIVES haha.
Hey Greg, I have been watching y’all struggle at times with logs on the tractor. Have you thought about drilling a couple of holes in the bucket one at the top middle and one OR two at the bottom, run heavy eye bolts to hook chain or cable on for transporting those heavy logs? Those chains would help keep it in the bucket, especially if only one of you is moving logs. Just a thought man.
They are adorable!
Crossing fingers for your deck..... I am wondering how all the goats will fit into the goat barn.... I feel that next summer goat barn V2 will be on its way. You guys do such a great job in everything you do. You always have great "can do" and positive vibes. You make a great team!
Love love the new addition to goat family ❤❤❤
Hope everything works out and the porch turns out great. Hard to believe there is snow already. Where did spring and summer go?
You both are great, love th animals, and ur excitement with them!your hubby is a hottie, love his work ethic, and personality.he's a cutie, and your a beauty.keep up the great work, and enjoyment of it all.I miss being able to do all those things, the farm,my animals, helping hubby haul down our wood for our stoves.we have in and bought woodchipper,my husband threw out his discs many times, couldn't miss his day job as an electrical contractor.nice talking to you!stay happy, enjoy!
Weld a chain hook on top of the bucket, one on each side. a lt safer as then you can hook the log yourself and carry it at a safe height
Fingers crossed good luck with the deck.
Love your goat family, so sweet!!! Fingers crossed the deck will get finished 😅
The new goats took to follow the leader rather well, and the boys have no problems with them, awesome! The visqueen over the deck should work well, unless there's rain, snow, or alot of wind. Like you said, fingers crossed 🤞 😊 Love ya'll ❤
So handy and resourceful. Good job getting the deck covered. Nice.
Can,t wait to see the siding, just finished my siding and it made a huge difference to the look of the house,
How cool...the varanda is getting on so well and new “children” at home, so cute 🤗....and all before snow is in...🎉
It's always something isn't it?! Hope it works out for you guys. Way to work as a team! 💪
Where there's a will....there is a way! Got to love a challenge! Like I use to tell my old boss..." The difficult I do right away....the impossible takes me a little longer." He would laugh and leave me to my devices.
Hi Greg , a quick fix for carrying the logs on the tractor, a hook or eye bolt on each side of the top of your bucket then loop of chain or rope under the log and back to the fixing then lift the bucket with the log suspended in the loops, quick and safe without straining and easy single handed fix and easy to load on the saw bench.Good luck with finishing the deck.I have been trouble shooting all my working life,(87 yesterday).
Hey Greg, when I saw those mushrooms, I thought they were animal turds. Shows how little I know about mushrooms. Thanks for explaining. Oh, I just wanted to say that I love the colors in the goats that you got. They are just beautiful. Great decision!
Congratulations on the new goats, looking forward to seeing the deck get done
Make a few small camp fires under the edge of deck....or put a FEW PROPANE BBQ GRILLS UNDER THE DECK.....Nice goats.... GOOD JOB!
Oh gosh your new little goats are so stinking cute and so friendly they are so adorable. Oh gosh so sorry about the ice on the deck snow can be an unfun thing when you are doing outside work. Wow a really large tent over your great looking deck, so happy that now you can do work on it without the weather messing things up, so cute seeing your kitty walking around. I am really excited to see your next video and what progress you keep making with your beautiful deck. Thanks so much for this wonderful video, you both are such hard workers that do a great job. Have a beautiful and blessed day, sending love and hugs, bye! 😂😊🥰🤗😺🐐🐐🐐🐈⬛🐓👋👍🙏💜💜
They are super cute ! They got lucky and got a great family ! You guys are really super optimistic with be able to do the deck now ;) we get pretty nice temperature still it been over 18oC the past few days, but freezing temps start this week (starting to get cold tomorrow), and everything remain damp... nothing really dry out. I tried to install a colvert and it just mud even if it been over a week. I'm discovering first hand mud season ;) It not going to be pretty in the spring I know !

Oh yes, we remember mud season 😂 grass helps if it's a suitable area to grow it
Hey, guys you should keep you some straps on the tractor when you're working alone or to keep the log from rolling off. The one thing I thought you were going to have some rope on the log while you cut it that way it wouldn't roll off. Keep up the great work on the home stead.
Congratulations! Glad you kept all four goats, you made them happy by not breaking them up. I love the videos guys. Keep up the hard work. True inspiration! Everything looks great.💚 I'm sure you'll finish the deck
Wishing you best of luck with getting the deck done. Take care. Michael. Ireland 🇮🇪
U guys are great together
You guys are absolutely amazing. I love all the goats you just got and the ones you already had. I always wait for next episode you put up. Always makes my day. Keep up amazing job.
Good job, you guys will be happy of having them.
15:30 you need a couple short forks to bolt onto your bucket to help with loading your log onto the bucket. About 2 feet would probably do.
fingers crossed you guys get this deck done and I absolutley love the new goats...they are great!!!
Hoping you can complete the deck.🤞🤞🤞Love those goats, they're kinda crazy. Lol. I think the plastic should work. This is something new to me for a deck, is this the same as the coating on garage floors? I love the fact that your milling your lumber, bending metal for gutters, and just troubleshooting pretty much everything between the 2 of you. Your quite knowledgeable. Enjoying your channel. ❤😊
Love all the new goat's! Always Love watching you guy's, Can't believe the weather changing all ready LOL!
Greg and Katie. I have a suggestion for you to help you move logs easier by yourself. What I do for moving heavy objects and it works great. I went and bought some light chain. Had it cut to 8' long. Put the correct hooks on it. You might have to get 2 " c" hooks for the tractor side. Hook the c hook on the top of the bucket let the chain hang down in front of the bucket so when you roll the bucket back it helps lift. Wrap chain around each end of log at each side hook it and lift. Cheap way to do things by yourself. It also works for pulling posts out of the ground just hookbin center of the bucket. My old kubota I welded 3 chain hooks to the top of my bucket and hooked my chain into them. One on each side and one in the middle. I am planning on doing that to my newer kubota just haven't got to it yet. I hope this helps you out. Let me know how it works out. Oh by the way I got a brand new set of forks for my tractor. It was about $800 for them and they are rated at 2000# capacity. If you are interested let me know they sell them here locally in Colville. Have a great week.
Love the goats you are very blessed to have such good goats
The tarp gives the indication to cover the deck with plexiglass. It turns the deck into a sunroom.
I absolutely love the new goats. I have always been very partial to them and the antics of baby goats with jumping and hopping around with springs in their feet is absolutely hillarious and fun to watch. They are a great addition to your spread and now it's even better seeing Greg or Katie walking down the road with the herd and dogs following, it's so cute! You two are far braver than I would be with still attemping to finish up coating the deck. I"m not familar with what material you are using but I'm sure if you are confident about it, it wil go as planned and turn out fine. I will definitely be praying for your success and sending positive thoughts your way. You are already into doing it so I hope it is going fine and look forward to your next vid for update. Have a successful and safe week ahead Katie and Greg. Larry, Central Valley, Ca.
Hope it works and you get another coat on it tonight so maybe tomorrow you can do more to the deck.wishing you Luck with it .
Good luck we"re rooting for you
Hey guy's congrats on the cute new goats. I hope your porch cover holds so you can get this done and move on..❤
A-freakin-dorable! And we were happy to see the tent/tarp. Also, we think y'all really need a wench on the front of the tractor. Just pull them logs on there. We worry about all the back strain! :-) Lookin great! Oh, now you're gonna have folks wanting their decks done, after weather changes, like yours. "I saw this couple on Utube..."

Huge difference between a wench and a winch. You set yourself up for some commentary.
What a nice life! So happy for you!
Greg the goat whisperer🎉
Greg, you cracked me up when you scraped the snow off the deck, and gave a half cocked look into the camera, and said, come on man 😂😂😂
you just built yourselves a winter greenhouse lol......... im sure it will all be great in the end :)
You guys are so totally amazing
What a huge project! I can not wait to see it. Kisses from France
If you would weld some hooks to the top of your bucket, then you could chain the log to the bucket! And move logs by yourself. Just a thought!😁
Hello you guys 👋 congrat on new goats 👍👍
Awesome work. Oh, and Katie, your eyebrows are spectacular.
