The "feature" is his older brother Zach ... he tells you at the start of that verse "here's my brother and his heads screwed up but that's alright" This is also before Josh on drums, this was when there was the original 2 members. But it is Tyler on 1st vs and chorus lyrics, and Zach on the 2nd verse. This isn't one you will probably ever hear live unless you are at a special hometown show- this is THE song that got me hooked! It speaks to me in ways no other song has. Great reaction!!! Can't wait for more!

The 2nd verse rap is his brother. He actually introduces him if you listen again. Everything else is Tyler. You might also like to know he writes all the music & lyrics. He produces all their stuff in his home studio. All arrangements etc are all him. He is one of the most talented individuals on the planet. So glad you got back to TOP. It's been a minute. I was beginning to think you'd forgotten the boys lol. As always, loved your reactions. Every bit of it plays across each of your faces and it's a joy to watch. Piece of advice though......never ever take up poker!! 😘

His falsetto is so beautiful and when he transitioned into the scream, it was so powerful. As others have mentioned, it’s only the fast rap verse in the middle that’s his brother Zack. Everything else is Tyler. This was right at the beginning when he was recording stuff in his parent’s basement. So his dad likes to comment about how they would be upstairs hearing all kinds of crazy screams and vocals coming from down there 😹 Tyler even played some of the rough demo voice tracks during the Vessel 10th Anniversary Variety Stream that they did last month. The ones that didn’t make the cut were funny, but you could see how committed he was to putting all his emotion into what he was creating. The lyrics at the beginning are so insightful. And you can see how people’s lives have been impacted by their message. It’s so genuine because it’s how he battled his own personal demons and found purpose in his life, so it gives others hope that they can too.

This song is from the era when Tyler was going through a lot of shit. The repetition of "go away" and "leave me alone" followed by the last minute pivot to "don't leave me alone" represents how people going through depression, etc will push others away and not ask for help, sometimes until it's too late.

I was fairly familiar with TØP. My gf was/is a HUGE fan. I decided to get last minute tickets and surprise her. I wasn’t expecting to fall in love. Their performance has this incredible, unfathomable affect. Their music has since been a huge part of my life. That was on their Trench tour in 2019.

The second singer is Tyler's brother, Zach who he references in the lyrics. This song is so special, because he is telling everyone that the song's meaning is unique to him, just as your own thoughts are unique to you. I feel is is telling everyone to express those thoughts in song, writing, or art to find your own personal meaning to your life. The pain of the lyrics "Go away," and "leave me alone," break my heart. You can feel the pain of those words, but there is also extreme pain for the recipient of those words. It's sooo powerful!

Its a war I wage so consistently I started putting this song on during anxiety attacks and it just speaks to me so much. The 'feature' is litterally his older brother Zach but the rest of it is all Tyler Thank you for listening to this song.

This was my first TØP song Iistened to when I first discovered they existed literally a month before Trench was released. The screams at the end tugged at my heart strings; but the "leave me alone, don't leave me alone" destroyed me. I bawled like a baby. It was at a terribly dark part in my life and I knew then these guys get me. I've been hooked ever since. Happened to have a concert near me a month or so later so I bought a ticket and camped outside for a whole day to see them in person from 3 feet from barricade was euphoric. 40something year old man and I was livin my best life that whole day. Camping out with the clique was an experience in and of itself. I'm rambling at this point; but I just wanted to say this sing made me tear up again so I know they still got it.

gret song. unfortunately fanmade lyric videos often get the lyrics wrong, including this one. The line is 'at my kitchen sink' not 'i'm a kitchen sink'. tyler said something amazing happened to him standing at a sink and he uses that experience to encourage him to stay alive through dark times becuase no one else knows the details of what happened to him.

As other comments mentioned, the feature is Tyler’s brother, Zach! This is one of my favorite songs for the sole purpose that nobody but tyler knows what it’s about (which is also inherently the point of the song). He wants us to create something to give us purpose as an individual. It could be big or small, but just to find something that only you know the story behind. There are theories, but nobody actually knows what happened at a kitchen sink for tyler or what it signifies. this song is beautiful performed live. I’ve also been wondering for a while if you guys could check out a band called waterparks :) they’ve got some really cool stuff that i think y’all would enjoy. They just dropped a single called REAL SUPER DARK and it’s definitely a roller coaster to listen to. I would also recommend the songs Self Sabotage, Lowkey as Hell, Turbulent, and Numb if you ever choose to get to them. stay cool 🤟🏽

And yes, that is all him on the high notes and long powerful ones. Kitchen Sink is the symbol of the band. Something happened with tyler in front of a kitchen sink. He won't tell anyone what it is but it was a good thing. The kitchen sink is his reason to keep going and the idea is for people to find their own meaning to kitchen sink and to hold onto that for when you feel like you wanna go before it's time.

I love that the band lives the mission of this song-continuing to encourage self-expression from the fans! They’ve hosted fan art shows at various times and in various locations while on tour. I’m recalling one in Denver and when they arranged to have Fan art displayed in the Tube station near a London gig years ago! They may not read it, but they have stated they are fine with the fan fiction out there because they see it as self-expression from the writer.

I first started listening to TOP back in their Vessel + self-titled era, before Blurryface, and to me, this track is just so *quintessentially them* right from the start. This was a really fun reaction to watch :D

yall NEED to react to more songs off of this lost album. it’s called “regional at best” which is a demo album before they got signed. josh joined on drums mid-production of this album. i suggest “forest” or “be concerned” next ;)

He says it in the verse "Heres my Brother" (Zack) who from Lane Boy likes it when Tyler Raps fast. Zack does the second half of that verse. Now, for me, one of my favorite videos is from the UG session Addict With a Pen. You can actually see and feel not just hear Tyler's passion. You can interprate what you want but to me it is a conversatiom with God. I also love their live stuff and especially, Trees, and Goner from Fox Theater. I subscribed to you tonight and have watched all the 21 pilots reaction you have, available so its time for more. Great Job yall.

i desperately need an entire album reaction of the trench album or yk all the albums 🧍🏽‍♀️OR their song goner live at the fox theatre i believe the same place as the holding on to you live performance was…same night. goner is a really really deep song to the point there was a time i couldn’t listen to that song at all because it truly spoke to me and my emotions could not handle that song. now i can listen to it, it has helped me so much in life since i was in middle school and years later it still helps me till this day. the live performance of goner is absolutely outstanding and incredible and emotional it’s everything. the amount of emotions that you could feel that you didn’t know you had. i just know if i ever get to experience that song live, i will be on the floor.. i just know my legs will give out and just start full on sobbing. i think you guys would really like it especially how y’all are so good at picking up and basically examining the lyrics. it’s a beautiful song.

I did look at all the comments, but that was his brother. One of his brothers has started his own music material. He has his own KZread channel. Tyler does all the falsetto stuff.

I would love to hear you guys react to Bad Religion, Pennywise, Dead Kennedys, or so many more that I could name. I'd be happy to throw out some songs to start out with if you're interested. Keep up the great work!
