You've stumbled across one of the best bands in the last decade. If you like their style, they have so many solid tracks.

I’ve been a DGD fan for a long time and they have a rich history of amazing clean vocals, starting with Jonny Craig. He was difficult to work with and the band had a falling out with him, but Tillian has taken over and he is the real deal. I’ve seen him live and he brings the house down. If you like We Own the Night, I’d recommend Inspire the Liars next. Great song and great music video to react to.

It wasn't difficult to work with, difficult to work with would be Craig Owens; Jonny had a very big DRUG problem and it caused a lot of shit

They do sound like this live! I really like Devin (I think that is his name) in the background, jamming out and screaming along, getting lost in his own world. One of my favorite bands; they have a lot of great music out now.

If DGD ever comes around your city, definitely go see them. One of the most consistent live bands out there. Also check out Man of the Year.

I often go searching for dance gavin dance reactions and I must say you guys are among the most entertaining out there. Please continue down the dgd rabbit hole. So many awesome tracks: inspire the liars, chucky vs the giant tortoise, strawberrys wake, man of the year, betrayed by the game... and some of their older tracks with their previous vocalist like: lemon meringue tie and i told them invented times new roman. Just to name a few. Keep up the good work.

nice. highly recommended "Inspire The Liars" and "Man of the Year (album version AND Tree City Sessions 2 version)" And yes Tilian sounds like this live. They recently added Andrew Wells to the band. He has his own band, Eidola, who is on Will Swan's label, Blue Swan Records. Yup, the guitarist of DGD.

Fell in love with this band in 2016 and I gotta say, they sound the same live, this band is one hell of a journey so get ready to fall in love with most of their songs 👌 the meaning behind the metaphors and the mathcore melodies together makes them the gem that is a great key to the perfect vibin'. All the tunes are so fun to sing too❤🍻

I just saw them here in Hawaii, and I can fully say without a doubt that yes Tillian absolutely kills it live. They played this song and evaporate as their encore and I was in a state of pure bliss.

Yes. You should definitely listen to more. I've been a fan since 2005 and it's all I listen to. Sure, over the years I've branched around to other bands, but these guys are always gonna be number 1 for me. They provide so much content and it's crazy. Yes. 100%

Seeing them live twice now, I can say that they are AMAZIBG LIVE!!! My favorite band since I discovered them a couple years ago.

Lol I love when people never heard them and seeing them react 😀. as a Sacramento native I watched them play in small churches in Highschool 15-16 years old and a few weeks ago saw them headline thier own festival at age 30 . It’s simply amazing how they keep getting better and better and put out music so constant . And kept the band alive through all the turmoil a lot of bands would of quit or vanished. Rest in rocker heaven Tim 🙏

DGD has been my favorite band since 2007 and im still not tired of them.

Dgd live goes so fucking hard. Tilian is very smooth live and Jon mess is a fucking god. Dude looks like he barely tries. This band is full of straight kings. Rip Tim. Feels bad man.

they are absolutely the real deal. they have been plagued with singer problems for 15 years at this point. theyve changed a few times, 4 different stints with 3 different singers. turns out the most talented people also tend to be troubled, who would have guessed?

Going to go see them for the first time ever on the 26th! Been my favorite band since 7th grade for me (26 now). Super excited, from the videos I've seen of them live, as well as their tree city session albums, yes, they can do this live.

Have you tried listening to the Jonny Craig era?

I saw DGD back in October in OKC, best concert I have ever been too. The vocals were amazing!!!

Please do more DGD. If you wanna see them live you guys gotta check out Man Of The Year - Tree City Sessions 2. It'll blow you away.

Seen DGD live a bunch of times and only once was Tillians voice not on point. It was the very last show of the tour and will/the crowd did his parts. Still an amazing experience

I gotta disagree. apart from the obvious lack of autotune present in his voice live, he pronounces his vows very weirdly as well. i’ve also noticed that he tends to either sing a part and then skip a part then resume as if he didnt skip it, or he will use Andrew Wells to fill in the gaps like on Chucky. my opinion but thats just what ive heard when listening to the band live. literally everyone else is consistent though, its just Tilian

Tilly is my fav singer of the 3, but compared to Jonny and Kurt live, Tilian just sucks. compared to 95% of singers, tilian sucks. the best he’s ever sounded was his live acoustic takes with Tides of Man, and the song Ghost. dont hate me cus im right, tilian still sounds the best in the Stu!

I just stumbled on this after finding out about them in September. I fell in love with them after hearing the jackpot juicer instrumental alone

More DGD please!! I absolutely love their song "Inspire the Liars". I heard it's about the lead singer's dad is into scientology. The screaming vocals are important too. So I think another lyric video would be great to follow.

I know a lot of people will direct you perfectly through their catalogue but they also have a lot of side projects; basically swancore, named after their guitarist Will Swan. Secret Band - Moon Sianvar - 1100 days Royal Coda - Becoming the Memory Hail the Sun - testostyrannosaurus (Not a Swan project but vocalist from Sianvar and just an awesome band) Hope you find the time to check these out and enjoy! Ive seen these guys live, three different times, and they have been absolutely immaculate every time.

I’ve seen them live 12 times, starting in 2011 with Jonny Craig, & one time with Kurt Travis, but 9 times w tilian, & I promise they sound just as great live!!

They do sound identical live. They choose to move around less and focus more on their quality of sound when on stage. HOWEVER everyone saying to listen to something off of Tree City Sessions, those songs were all prerecorded and cleaned up, so technically not a raw performance

I saw DGD in Pittsburgh this past September. They sound just as good live! I recall an interview where they said they don’t move around a lot on stage because they’re all trying their best to deliver studio-quality performances. They’re fantastic. I’d recommend the studio and live (Tree City Sessions) versions of: Robot with the Human Hair, pt 4 Death of a Strawberry Stroke God, Millionaire Man of the Year

i just searched up "dance gavin dance reaction" and this video came up the first thing i notice is the Elvira cut out in the back lmfaoo what did i get into I don't know these guys but I'm diggin the weirdness. so about dance gavin dance, they had MULTIPLE member changes throughout their career lol their first vocalist Jonny Craig had a drug addiction and had to go to the rehab, Jon Mess (the screamer) also left and the group was kinda about to fall out but Kurt Travis and Will Swan (lead guitarist and founder) took their places for vocal. then the first vocalist comes back and kicks Travis out lol then Jon Mess joins again. anyways he has issues again and eventually leaves then his place gets taken by Tilian (the clean vocalist they have to this day) their history is very complicated and i heard they don't sound that good live unfortunately and heard rumors that Tillan gets tipsty before their shows so 🤷‍♂️ thanks for reacting, id like to see you guys react to more of their songs from different eras too! some recommendations: -Blue Dream -Strawberry Swisher pt1 -Young Robot -Strawberry's Wake -Uneasy Hearts Weigh the Most -Death of Robot with Human Hair -Chucky vs The Giant Tortoise

This is the perfect intro to modern DGD. It's got a mix of just about everything they do. Tilian's amazing vocals complimenting Jon's harsh vocals. Then the groovy breakdowns.

You might be right on that particular AA video(when he was younger) but I've seen them live a bunch and Danny is honestly one of the best live vocalists out there. He kills it every single show.
