It’s been incredibly fun watching y’all fall down the hole, but I did want to plug their songs Pretty Savage and Crazy Over You (cause they fit into a similar pocket as Typa Girl). But also wanted to note, one of the things that I really appreciate about the K-pop genre is that their artists can be very sexy, lyrically talk about mature topics, and have all the amazing high quality visuals without being outright raunchy. Western pop music is notorious for just having over the top sleazy energy a lot of the time and it was such a breath of fresh air to see a lot of groups bringing a more classy take on what sexy can be (S. Korea is still a far more conservative nation than the USA) I just thought it was worth mentioning. As always all the love guys, happy listening!

BP is flexing more with this album but you need to understand that the haters have been at them for 6yrs now and the girls are pushing back harder than they've ever done previously. Given that they are #1 on five different Billboard charts this week in a perfect world would finally quiet them but nope, they're more persistent now than ever.

Never noticed that rap song was typically about flexing until you said it. No wonder why I like this song so much because of that ‘I’m the best’ vibe. Lol and the not too much innuendo just right for me. Agreed that it suits them well.

Netflix documentary "Blackpink Light Up The Sky" the girls explain that when Rose showed up and was roomed with Jisoo Jenny and Lisa they stayed up all night long singing together and they were paired for the first time as just the 4 of them that they all understood what to do for that month's performance testing, no leader was needed as they all just did what needed to be done. Other girls were begging to be teamed with them because there was never any drama and they were so good together. Teddy Park (their producer) said as soon as they (the management) heard just these 4 together they knew it was just going to be these 4 in the group (not the 9 originally planned). I highly suggest you watch that documentary as part of your Blackpink journey.

The most impressive thing about the lyrics of this song is that it's all true. Every bit of it. These girls are everything you'd want.

their B-Sides tend to be better than the title tracks. The title tracks are designed to be huge, shocking, almost theatrical even, and appeal to as much demographics as possible which is why theyre a mixed blend of multiple genres and are so flashy, however their b-side tend to be more cohesive and stick to 1 sound throughout. Typa Girl, Pretty Savage, Kick It, Crazy Over You, and Love to Hate Me are probably some of their best tracks but not single one of them have MV's or were heavily promoted.

In k-pop it is a normal thing for idols to do solo songs AND group activities at the same time. I know in America and other places people usually think when one goes solo it means that the group is disbanding, which for BLACKPINK is ABSOLUTELY not the case. They are just trying to show there own color in a song by themselves. I highly recommend reacting to the members solo’s!☺️ All the solo’s have the BLACKPINK flair, like the songs you reacting to so far, but also with the members own personal touch💗 Thank you again!! Pretty Savage is another great one with a lyric video. Definitely check that one out. Also Tally off Born Pink. Look for the explicit version though 😂 Yeah they all have unique voices so when you get used to hearing them they're easy to tell apart. You want a song full of innuendos then react to their collab with Selena Gomez... Ice Cream. Super poppy but I think you'll appreciate the innuendos and Lisa's rap of course lol.
