Crazy thing about early bear tooth is everything was done by Caleb he wrote the songs did the vocals tracked the guitars and drums and I believe even mixed them he’s incredibly talented

Still does. He only brought on a producer the last album to help with the tone, and I assume he did the same for Riptide.

This album is a alltime classic. Evergreen. My absolute fav is the lines

Saw them live and I had no idea about them. I was there for another band but they opened. I heard the song Beaten In Lips by them and I BAWLED. I was right up front and Caleb saw me and held my hand while singing up front. When I say bawling I mean like scream crying. It was also my very first concert and again I hadn't heard that song. The anger,pain and everything I was able to let out was amazing. I also have SH scars which were still not fully healed and bright purple. Yet he didn't care and still held my hand despite the scars. He truly is such a sweet guy

To get the full experience you almost have to listen to every song going old to new. The progression musical, lyrical, and seeing Caleb's mind change and how he sees things is at times sad and heart breaking but also awesome.

The sample of this chorus was played on YT quite often after other songs/bands on the same label... probably where you and others have heard it. 💯

Sooooo you made it to one of their „essentials“. This is one of them beside „The Lines“, „Body Bag“ and „Beaten in Lips“. All on the same album and that’s why that album is one of my all time favorites

I'd argue I Have a Problem is also a MUST from this album since it's the first track made for the band and it's amazing

I love their older stuff! I have seen Beartooth live 2 times now and their shows are incredible! The Lines is also an amazing song!

This chorus has always been so catchy.

So glad you continue to go down this rabbit hole. Again, so many great songs. Earlier stuff has a lot more screaming but powerful messages.

This album was their best by far in my opinion. So many great songs. If you really like Beartooth, I think you guys would really dig the Sleeping. I'd highly recommend starting with Bomb the World and You'll be A Corpse Before Your Time to start with.

You should definitely check out Japanese metal band NEMOPHILA “DISSENSION”, “Hozuki”, “RISE”. They played at AFTERSHOCK 2022. I like them better than Band-Maid and Baby Metal😅

I know it's been said, but Caleb Shomo is an insanely talented man. All the early stuff from beartooth was recorded and mixed solely by Caleb. He only had bandmates while touring. Otherwise, everything you're hearing right now is all done by Caleb.
