Addicted Fishing I’m impressed. I’ve been seeking a remedy for a place to hold my rods and I would use both of them but I’m sure their expensive.

Yakima is a great product. Before they moved their manufacturing to Mexico my grandfather's plastics injection molding company made all the plastic parts for Yakima. The owners are great people as well. When my grandfather passed away they came up for the service even though my grandparents didn't have a business relationship with them anymore.

Yakima is at the top of my list. I have been looking at racks for a tent over the bed of my truck on my overnight fishing trips. I prefer a canopy for sleeping in but I haul a snowmobile in my truck during the winter so a rack on the bed with a tent I can remove and store easily will work better. Keep us informed on how they hold up.

We used the same heater in the enclosed boat never had an issue. Y'all are good.

They look awesome. All my rods are two-piece so I keep em in my car. Just got a Daiwa crossfire 2500 for my son. Unbelievable rod/reel. Makes my graphite shimano feel like a hockey stick lol. Love the content guys keep it up. Love from BC!

I have a dual inno ski rack that I put on my Camry for my rods. Worked great. Just have to face the trout rods tips towards the rear. Don't want the wind to break the tips

The first one is just a regular ski/snowboard holder. Been using it for years for my rods in the summer. The second one looks more like for bass fisher with short rods.

That’s exactly what I need. Looks like a good investment.

It's a nice rack. Worth the money considering the safety and good transport of expensive rods.

They look great. Just have to watch the garage door when pulling out to make sure you have clearance

Good for snowboards and skiis

I think they are a great idea. I always worry about leaving my gear in the back of my truck when I go out and have to stop and get gas or munchies or stop at a restaurant if I stay out late. Hoping it will still all be there when I come back.

Just a heads up I've heard some people complain about the rack mount rubbing paint off after years of having them mounted this way. I don't know about Cameron's truck but Jordan's definitely has pre-drilled holes in the roof for a roof rack. I've already got a rack so I might get a set of the Reel Deal mounts to toss on the roof and get the rods out of my bed.

Those Yakima racks are pretty sic! I would definitely use something like that. Tell us how much the rod tips flop around when there hanging out there though!

Any issues with scratches/shifting of the mounts that connect directly to the truck? Just got a new 2020 Tacoma and am babying it still, but am interested in these!

My rods are like my baby's no way I'm putting a 700$ setup on the roof ! One low tree or a big wind or a loose reel or you lose a piece of your rod ! Only way I'd do it is if I had no choice ! Safest way is in the suv .. Good luck with that rack though ! The box on top seems to be cool though

Same never would put my rods on the top of the vehicle there always inside the truck with me haha. To each there own though.

I've been utilizing my snowboard racks to do this for quite some time now. my rods are defiantly not that snug though.

these are great, after I put one on I lost 6-8mpg on highway. there should be easier clamp system to remove them while not in use

I really like that topwater box that you guys put on top of jordans tacoma. I wonder if that would be able to fit on my Thule roof racks on my tacoma as well? Or does it have to be all Yakima to work? And how long was it?

Do you have that on a yakima rack as well? Wondering if it'll work on a thule rack.

That’s crazy cause I’ve been using my ski rack for my rods cause I drive a coupe. That’s legit just a ski rack that’s been shrunk down lol! I’m a genius.

Of course Cameron's truck is going to look with a roof rack! All trucks look badass with a roof rack, except this one will carry fishing rods!!👍

Hey Guys, do you know of a soft rack that is easily taken off, like soft surfboard racks? Or how about a rack that will attach to a Tonneau cover? I have garage door clearance issues. The Yakima products look good, they just won't work for me.

How do I get an addicted sticker!?!

What's the point in the locks? You could slide the rods right off the rack. Or steal the reels off the rods. Or since it has wing nuts you can just undo them and off comes the whole thing. Please don't trust them. If not add different hardware. It's made for transportation not storage please keep it in mind. Yes it's a awesome idea but when your flying on a highway the rods will fly around banging against eachother. I was so happy when they came out with these but sadly come to realize they are not made to keep people out. Stay awesome can't wait for the next trip

The Yakima rack looks like a regular ski/snowboard rack. And you can buy a regular box and still store you're crap. Just saying. They are lucky they got the plug on yakima.
